Even though I need to wear an air cast for just a month, walking even with a cane put a lot of strain on my other foot. The last thing I needed was to injure my good foot while trying to protect the ankle in the air cast. I called the prosthetic place where I got my air cast to see if they had something to level my good foot. They had no suggestions except maybe I could find some old platform shoes from the 1970's. So I did a search on Google, and it led me here. I spent 2 days researching this product and was convinced that this would work. Boy am I ever glad I did. After getting this, I put it on one of my slippers and immediately knew I made the right decision. I now can walk without a cane if I choose, and the subtle pain if my good foot is gone. It is well worth every penny I spent. I am going to contact the prosthetic place where I got my air cast and suggest that they start stocking these for others who have the same problem as I had. What a great device!!!

My doctor recommended this to balance out an Achilles tendon boot that I have to wear. I was experiencing hip pain when walking without this 'leveler'. When I got the leveler it looked like a flimsy attachment. Over the period of three weeks, I can honestly say that this is very rugged. I have used this daily without wear issues, slipping issues, or tripping issues. Be warned, if you wear it on your right foot while driving, practice. It take a few minutes to get used to while driving. In short. Great product for what it's supposed to do.

If you are using a walking boot for an ankle injury, these fit on the bottom of your "good" leg shoe. They help lessen the height differential between the two legs. Without them you end up walking bent over to the side. Some walking boot manufactures claim these aren't necessary, but I strongly disagree. These are well made, functional, and help you walk more safely. I'd buy again.

It was great at first, but I only needed the first height and not the add on. That where the issue started. After using it a short time the Velcro strip on it shifted and the sole kept moving and sticking in awkward positions to the bottom of my shoemaking it worthless to use. You should not have it fix or replace something you only got a couple weeks ago. Poor design, that strip should either stay put or be added by the wearer only if needed to add the extra lift. Now there is this super stick crap from the Velcro that has to be removed in order for me to still be able to use it and I'm afraid a solvent will eat the foam rubber the things made of. I'm seriously ticked off.
