Extremely easy to install, any amateur can do it. Just unplug 2 wires from the old lamp and insert them into the tab locking wire case provided with the unit and its done! I had a short at the case of the physical switch on the wall, so after i fixed that this light is a very nice upgrade. Much brighter than expected. Cant go wrong

I used this fixture to replace an existing bare 150 watt equivalent LED light bulb at the bottom of my basement steps to reduce the "glare." The opaque lens covering and low silhouette did exactly that, very bright light, but not in your face. In addition, this flush mount ceiling light was very easy to install and connect to the existing electrical box. The connecting wires are only 18 gauge, but that is not a problem since the current needed to power the LEDs is so low (~0.15 amps). Best of all, the price is very reasonable for such an efficient and bright light compared to similar light fixtures at the big box stores.

Easy to install and they produce great light!

Seems to fit the bill well. I needed light occasionally in a dark area in my shed with open rafters. I didn't want to go through the hassle of framing, installing a box, wire and switch,(maybe later). Installed light on 1 foot square piece of plywood in rafters, used the quick connector to connect to an old vacuum cleaner cord and ran it to an outlet. Plug In, On Plug out off. (I actually used one of those I might need it things!!) An added benefit as an LED there is great light, instant on and no flickering in the cold. I have installed similar motion activated lights in closets with great results

I do like it. It is a brighter than I expected but all I all I can see much better than with what I had before.

My original review is below.ORIGINAL REVIEW (pointless for a product that died so quickly) I really liked this light, but first a quick warning - it has no screw terminals for wiring, only push-connectors. If you have stranded wire, you'll need to tin the end or crimp on a post. It's fast and easy with great results but don't get surprised. I have stranded wire and tinned the ends with my soldering iron in a minute or two and it worked beautifully.This is a great light packing clean, bright, glare free light into a compact package with an installation method that's versatile and efficient. A metal bracket on the back of the light releases with a recessed spring clip so you screw the bracket to the wall/ceiling and then just clip the light to it. It attaches firmly and securely with no wiggle but can be removed if you ever need to (like for painting).I also liked how compact this is, it's small enough to fit inside my 16" circular fluorescent fixture so when the ballast wore out I removed the ballast and bulb and installed this inside. The fixture still matches the others in my house but now it's LED for more light with less electricity and no mercury filled glass bulbs!I'm very happy with the 2 I bought and will buy more against the day when my other circular florescent lights start to go. UPDATE: No, I won't, this burned out so fast I will chose a different brand!

Needed to replace the florescent light in the kitchen. Could not be more pleased. The mounting bracket mounted directly to the existing electrical box. No need to mess around with wire-nuts as there's a very nice speed connector. The hot and neutral are clearly marked. Snapped the light into the bracket I attached to the electrical box and I was done. Took no more than 15 minutes including removing the old fixtures.Color of the light is very nice and it's just the right brightness for the kitchen. Would buy again and would recommend it to others.
