Time travelling animated Disney adventure about a young boy searching for family life in the future. Orphan Lewis is a twelve-year-old inventor who has created a 'Memory Scanner' that he hopes can capture memories of his real mother. Stolen from him by the 'Bowler Hat Guy', a figure from the future, Lewis is helped by the mysterious Wilbur Robinson, who transports him to his future world in his time-machine. While staying with Wilbur's eccentric family, Lewis soon gets the chance to track down his invention and save both the day, and the future. Review: Underrated and brilliantly creative - Meet the Robinsons is one of my favorite animated films. It blends humor, heart, and a really clever take on time travel and changing the past. Iโm especially drawn to stories that explore those kinds of ideas, and this one does it in a way thatโs both accessible and surprisingly thoughtful. What really stood out to me was how emotional it becomes. I didnโt expect it to hit that hard, but it genuinely made me tear up by the end. Itโs funny, imaginative, and deeply heartfelt. A great reminder about moving forward and not getting stuck in the past. Definitely worth watching. Review: whether they be nerds like me, adopted - What a sleeper! Not sure why this wasn't as highly-received as some other movies, but this was a truly delightful movie with a powerful positive message. It should be a "must-see" for anyone who has felt discrimination of any kind, whether they be nerds like me, adopted, bullied, different from the mainstream, or just a movie lover. So glad to include it in my library and I recommend it to everyone.

Shame on you Amazon
I purchased this movie to show to my grandsons because I liked it so much when I had seen it years ago. However, we were very disappointed. The disc has something called a region code and will not play in either of my blue ray players. Amazon should have known this and should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this disc to, surprisingly, come all the way from the UK.

Very disappointed in MovieMars
MovieMars did not make it clear when I purchased this movie that it could not be played in the U.S. I sent this to my nephew for his birthday and the error message "Invalid Region" popped up. I received a movie for Christmas that never would play so I tried it again and confirmed the same error message. When I went back to Amazon and went through the prompts to buy another movie through MovieMars, I found that Region 2 meant it could be played in regions of Asia. I had to dig to find this information. When I compared my recent order to the order given to me as a Christmas gift (the email confirmation could still be found in my mother's deleted emails), it turns out both were purchased from MovieMars. Very disappointing.

Un clรกsico de la colecciรณn de Disney.
Declarado como clรกsico para Disney que no tiene mucho que ofrecer ni la historia ni el mensaje, aceptable la pelรญcula pero imprescindible para terminar la colecciรณn.

"90 minutes of your life you will never want to give back!!"
Having just watched this film, and just read the review "90 minutes of your life you will never get back", I can completely say with 100% confidence that this movie is a masterpiece in its own rights. Besides it being a very intelligent, positive and moving piece by Disney, it is an action packed, feel good family movie filled with laughs along the way. The twists and turns that bring you closer to the end will bring smiles and tears to your face (which I didn't think would), with the ending hiting the nail on the spot... "Keep moving forward" A definate must watch!!

Good film
I purchased this film for myself as I enjoy Disney films and the time travel genre. Lewis is a budding young inventer who was given up by his mother as a baby. As he grows up he tries his hand at building inventions much to the annoyance of his roommate, Michael Yagoobian. His adventure starts when a boy from the future arrives in the present and insists that Lewis goes with him to stop a nasty man called Bowler Hat Guy. I watched this with my 2 year old neice and she loved the film up until the point where Wilbur is in the mouth of the T-rex trying to stop it from eating him and Lewis. My neice got very upset at seeing this and immediately threw herself into my arms almost crying. I had to double check the age certificate on the DVD cover to make sure it really was appropriate for for young children and not a PG. Overall it is an enjoyable film. If anybody else has children who got upset at that one scene please let me know. I'm curious to know if other children behaved in asimilar way to my neice.

Hilarious & very touching movie
Some brilliantly funny moments with innovative ideas & world-building yet with a truly heartfelt story about a boy trying to find family. Plus I love time travel stories. It's almost a crime that this movie wasn't seen by more people when it first came out.
