This book is a laughter frenzy
This book gives a sense of sadness and tragedy and then gradually changes to a laughter frenzy. It is a very good book in whicha girl lost her parents and became the owner of the mansion they lived in, but her awful auntie wants it! It is a book with the primary genre as comedy, but it also has horror, suspense, adventure, mystery and tragedy. It is a great book and I loved it a lot. It is one of the best books for modern children and adults who love comedy.

Spannend, unterhaltend und emotional
Ich habe bereits mehrere Bücher von David Walliams gelesen. Ich gehöre mittlerweile auch zu den älteren Semestern und mein Schulenglisch liegt viele viele Jahrzehnte zurück, so dass ich mir einen Roman für Erwachsene nicht mehr zutrauen würde. Es wäre mir auch zu anstrengend, wenn ich jede zweite Vokabel googeln müsste. Nachschauen muss man auch einige Worte, aber man könnte den Text auch so verstehen (wenn mal das Verständnis für eine Vokabel fehlt), so dass es eine unanstrengende Bettlektüre ist, mit dem ich meine eingerosteten Englischkenntnisse ganz gut auffrischen kann. Speziell dieses Buch war spannend, lustig, aber auch sehr anrührend. Allerdings hätte ich es auf Deutsch natürlich nicht gelesen, weil es ja doch eigentlich ein Kinderbuch ist. Da hier noch die zusätzliche Herausforderung der englischen Sprache hinzukam, habe ich aber wirklich jede Seite genossen. Diesen Autor werde ich immer wieder sehr gerne lesen.

toujours fidèle à son style, c'est un livre très drôle, bien écrit, la fin est un peu attendu et fantastique mais c'est un bon livre pour enfant ! J'adore !
