Absolutely Brilliant! Transformed my driveway and exceeded all expectations!
As someone who recently tackled the task of sealing my concrete driveway, I could confidently say this product was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic, and the results speak for themselves. First off, the ease of application was a huge relief. I used a simple pump sprayer, and it went on smoothly and quickly. Even for a large area, the process was straightforward, and I did not feel overwhelmed. The cost effectiveness of this sealer was also incredible, getting so much quality sealer for the price felt like a steal compared to other options I researched; and I researched the options for days. The real magic happened after it dried. The water repelling capability was absolutely phenomenal! Watching today's rain bead up and roll right off my driveway reminded me I should write this review. It was like a protective shield that did not change the look of the concrete at all – the invisible finish was exactly what I wanted. I am also very optimistic about the longevity of this sealer. Knowing it was designed to last for years gives me great peace of mind that my investment is protected. I even used it on some pavers around the yard and it worked just as well. In summary, this product delivered on every promise. It was easy to use, incredibly effective at repelling water, maintained the natural look of the surface, and offered outstanding value. I am thoroughly satisfied and highly recommended it to anyone looking for a top tier concrete sealer!

Affordable and highly effective sealer
Excellent sealer at a very reasonable price. Easy to apply with a 4 gallon backpack sprayer. Easy to mix. Used on a concrete driveway. It has a nice appearance, definitely repels liquid and prevents stains. My irrigation system caused rust stains on my old driveway but doesn’t leave stains on the new since I sealed it.

Budget-Friendly Brilliance: Rain Guard’s Penetrating Sealer Gave My Driveway A New Lease On Life.
After deciding to reseal my 30-year-old driveway, I conducted extensive research and selected a penetrating Silane/Siloxane sealer. Initially, I was deterred by the high costs at local big box stores, where the approximately 15 gallons needed for my project would have cost nearly $1000 after taxes and the additional materials needed for prep. This was an expense I could not justify. I then discovered Rain Guard’s 32-ounce penetrating sealer concentrate, which yields 5 gallons and fits comfortably within my budget. The sub $70 price tag to make 5 gallons was quite attractive. The positive reviews convinced me to try it, and I have no regrets about my decision. I adhered strictly to the product instructions, and the initial results exceeded my expectations. Preparation, as expected, was the most labor-intensive part of the process. The previous week, I dedicated significant effort to cleaning, degreasing, repairing and sealing cracks including a thorough high-pressure power washing the day before application. I successfully removed diesel oil stains using a gasoline and oil-absorbent/oil-dry method. The hot weather caused the water from power-washing to dry almost immediately, tempting me to apply the sealer the same day. However, I resisted the temptation and followed the instructions by waiting over the 24 recommended hours before proceeding. Determining the correct application rate based on the recommended coverage per gallon required some adjustment as I was learning how much to put down and how to set my sprayer, but once mastered, the spraying process went smoothly. The second coat was even easier to apply and required less material. Post-application (two coats), the driveway’s appearance after rain is remarkable. It even looks dry as compared to the surrounding concrete. Water beads up as it would on a non-stick skillet surface, unlike the untreated sidewalks which look dark and absorb all of the water. While the longevity of the sealer remains to be seen, I anticipate its performance will rival more expensive alternatives that would have cost an additional $700. As stated on the manufacturer’s website, shipping a concentrate and adding water locally is a much more cost-effective approach. Should my experience change, I will update this review. For now, I am thoroughly impressed with the product’s quality relative to its price. I highly recommend this product.

The sealer name!
Living up to its sealer name!! I applied this to concrete pavers and as you can see in my photos it beads up the water. This is as an invisible layer on top! Absolute shield! I park a van on top on these pavers. These are the perfect photos below it that are wet from a major storm. The rest of them are wet from the storm but it is not penetrating the concrete! To apply just use a quality sprayer and it goes on quick. I set a timer for one hour and hit it again quickly! It could go on most likely sooner as instructions say you can but recommend the hour. The color remained the same after I applied two coats on this grey and dark blend concrete paver. Buy this deal!!!

Don't last
I don't think it last for a year. I applied it last year and I don't see anything after a year. Initially, I see repell of water but not anymore

Invisible protection for my retaining wall cap
Even more important than whether it protects, will it change the look of my pavers? Definitely not! I was concerned that my blocks would look shiny or darker than they did before I used the sealer. I was relieved to see that when the sealer dried, it was completely invisible, unnoticeable. I used the sealer just for the cap stones on my retaining wall and around my landscape beds. I also used it on my chimney cap. I did the chimney cap first and I used one of those cheap foam paint brushes. That was not the best way to apply it. The directions say to use a garden sprayer but I felt there would be too much overspray and I would run out of product. Instead, I used an empty spray bottle of kitchen cleaner. It was a little tiring with all that trigger pumping but I was able to lay down a nice even coat. I went over it a few times to make sure the stone was saturated pretty well. It is important to get that "second coat" on before the first one dries, overwise it will repel itself. After allowing a day for drying, I noticed as I was watering my landscaping that the water was beading off the caps pretty well. If there are few spots where it wasn't beading as well it is probably because I didn't saturate that spot enough. Bottom line: I am very happy with this sealer. My cap stone now sheds water instead of absorbing it and it look exactly the same as it did before the application. Using a hand sprayer worked great for my job but it would take forever to do an entire driveway that way!

Good concrete sealer for the price
The sealer applied easily to my concrete driveway, concrete porch, and concrete sidewalk via a 1 gal. sprayer. The actual application rate was approximately 150 sq. ft./gal. vs. the 200 sq. ft./gal. as stated on the sealer container. [One rating star has been deducted for this reduced actual application rate] The sealer fully dried several hours later after applying the sealer in 65 deg. F. There was no leakage from the containers. Time will tell how well the sealer performs. The manufacturer states the sealer should be re-applied in 2 years.

Easy and effective
This product is great. Super easy to spray it on and there is no smell to it. Once it had cured after a couple days I tested it and it works perfectly. Even tried oil and it didn't soak in. One bottle did over 1000 sqft but that is because it was power troweled concrete.

No visible change after a rain
I ordered this product to coat my concrete driveway. The product arrived in time. I cleaned the driveway and sprayed over the surface and it dried in 1 hr. Two days after the spray there was a rain and I was hoping to see the effect of the coating. Unfortunately, there was no visible change and rain water soaked the driveway. I used Tecniseal products in the past and i was expecting the same results. Think twice if you want to spend 132.00 dollar

Amazon
The product seems to be excellent. Amazon guarantees it can deliver but it cannot. My order, taken by Amazon was passed to a third party unbound by Amazon promises. For Amazon I would provide a 0+ rating out of 10. Highly disappointing and disruptive of my project.

Useless
I applied two coats If I spray water on the floor, it will bead but if I rub it with my hand the concrete will become wet. If I let some water standing on the concrete, after few minutes it will be wet. And by the way I paid 73.75$. It was already overpriced. Now even more.
