Very happy with Winco products...keep adding more!
Excellent addition to utility knife selection. Fits right in for utility uses before you need to go the larger knives. Have two paring and one "peeling" type, so added this one. Happy I did! Easy to handle, well balanced. extremely sharp (and holds the edge well) Have many other "Winco" knives and find them to be quality products with excellent construction, long lasting, durable and able to hone the edge at home, as well as reasonably priced.

Very impressive blade for the price. I'd buy 'em again in a heartbeat.
I'm honestly a little shocked by this purchase. I bought these because my lovely Wusthof 4.5" sandwich knife that has been part of my kit since I used to work in professional kitchens ended up being left in the sink dirty and unable to to be used without washing more often than not. I had previously attempted to remedy this by purchasing a cheap $8-9 5" utility knife from Target. That turned out to be the biggest piece of dung I have ever used. It had machining marks on the blade so coarse that you could feel them running your hand across the metal. Needless to say, it was relegated to the depths of an ACTUAL utility drawer for such glamorous tasks as opening boxes and cutting down cardboard. I stumbled across these because I was looking for a cheap paring knife to use in my RV, and I was surprised by the reviews/pictures. Looked to good to be true..... but at $7.50 a pop, what the hell.... I'd be out $15 and have cheap beater knives. I've gotta say, I've had these for about a month now, and haven't had to hone them in any serious way yet..... only ran one over the steel that got used cutting on ceramic. The quality is impressive, and thus far, the edge holds up. I doubt they'll hold up the way my higher-priced german friends have over the years, but now that I don't cook for a living anymore, I don't need them to.... and anyway, if they've been this impressive from the go? I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

Price+Quality = fair blade
Good for the low price, gains a nice sharp edge, but doesn't hold it for very long (like 2 days of regular use). I do like the full tang, which makes for a slightly heavy blade for the size. Not something you want for work kitchen use, but if you are just an occasional home cook it will do you just fine.

Good quality and comfortable for person with small hands
Good quality knife for person with small hands. My wife has small hands and did not enjoy using our other knives from our knife block. This one has worked well for her, cutting mostly fruit and vegetables. Good quality and easy to clean.

Dose not stay sharp
I loved it at first but after many sharpenings it doesn't hold an edge anymore. I don't think that it wad heat treated all the water through.

Amazing Knife For The Price !
I tend to get a little obsessive over knives. I bought this one because wifey lost another utility knife. Women WILL destroy kitchen knives. They will dump them in the sink, cram them in with the forks, cut up boxes,or dice on a granite counter top. Damn dull bothers my wife not in the least. I keep a locked tackle box with 2 paring knives,a cleaver, and a utility knife in my closet for when i cook. THIS KNIFE is going in that locked tackle box. She's sending me to Walmart. I will get her a crap knife there.

Very good value
The Acero series of knives from Winco offer near professional quality at a bargain price. I am delighted with them. They hold an edge and feel just right in my hands. I have the 5"Utility, 8" Slicer, 8" Chef, 6" Boning, 3.5" Paring knives and the 7" Carving fork.
