Spigen Rugged Armor Case for Apple Watch 45/44mm

I've been buying Spigen cases for my iPhones since the 4. I do like this brand. Admittedly I've had some issues with quality of the last few phone generations, but in general this is a brand I recommended to others. After realising that I am quickly becoming a very clumsy human, and a single bash of my watch left a nice scratch on it, I decided to get a case for the watch. I don't care about the original aesthetic. Apple doesn't either. Real world application always proves the hypotheticals wrong. This case is cool. I like it. It fits really well. The screen bezels line up equally on each side which is very satisfying. I have a little Spigen stand for my watch and it fits perfectly into that as well, so I've no issues charging my watch whilst this case is on. Overall, for this price point, I am very happy. There is no screen protector included which I think is a good thing. I dislike screen protectors for the watch. Ever since I bought the original gen, and then owned the series 3, 6, 7 & 8 I've tried screen protectors. They never really work. This case provides a durable lip that will take the impact before the screen unless you stack it on a gravel path. Recommended.

Bought one of these in 2020 and have been using it on my Watch daily since then. And yes, I've changed watch model a couple of times. Currently using the a Series 9. (The one that introduced the finger tap thingy that I never use) I noticed that the case was starting to disintegrate, but after the amount of time I've had mine, that fine. Taking the old one off and putting on the new one took all of 5 minutes, including giving the watch body a clean (didn't need much of a clean though) Overall very happy with this as my watch still looks like it's new, even after a couple of years of daily use and abuse.

This case is a great option for anyone looking for a slightly bulkier looking case. There aren’t masses of good quality ones out there. This is the third I’ve tried! The positives of this is that it is a good quality feeling case. It’s going to last as there’s nothing really to break on it, the main breaks on my other two were the screen protector smashing. But this doesn’t have one. Which leads me to the reason one star was dropped... There isn’t a screen protector built into the case. You’d have to buy a separate screen apply one. My other two were cheaper, but had screen protector built in. They looked cheaper which means I like the look of this one better, but did the job. Both took impact when I hit the phone and the case screen cracked rather than my watch screen. This doesn’t have that. It does have a lip, but that still lends itself liable to potential cracks with a bad angle hit. So, a great looking case and I’m happy with it, but does have a slight issue that would affect some wanting to purchase.

Does what you expect it to do! Covers the watch case and prevents damage. Gives the screen a raised edge so protects from drops and knocks. Protects the crown, maybe a little to much as it now takes a bit of fiddling. However after a bit of messing around I figured it out, but at the end that’s the price for protection. It also added a larger button, which was a god sent for me, less faffing around trying to hit the button next to the crown. Spigen once again knock it out the ballpark with this! Bear in mind though that this, like most spigen cases, aren’t designed to be taken on and off all the time. They’re designed to be put on and left on. I would however recommend getting a proper screen protected for added security

Good product, it feels quite robust and sturdy. You can still easily slide the band straps into palace on either side too which is good. The material is quite firm and it fits snugly around the Watch, and you also have enough room to put a screen protector on too! The only slight thing that can take a little getting used to is that it covers a bit of the wheel on the side so it can be a little harder to scroll, but I got used to it quite quickly so it isn’t too much of an issue. EDIT: Been using this daily ever since purchase taken it swimming, to the gym, CrossFit- and it’s still absolutely in perfect condition with no sign of wear and tear in 2024! This has saved my Apple Watch on multiple occasions from bumps, drops and scrapes- would fully recommend!

This case is a really good quality and value for money. My husband got it as he works in construction and needs to protect his Apple Watch against dust and debris and it does the job brilliant. Lovely design and it doesn’t affect the watches function and ease of use at all. Perfectly light weight and works really well around the touch screen.

As of July 2021: Fits very well 🙂. Dark blue colour looks ok i guess 🤔😐. Quite happy with the price of it 🙂. I wish there was REAL protection for the screen 😟 As of 16 Sept 2022: After more than 15months of use it has protected my Apple Watch 6 GPS 44mm, Blue Aluminium, extremely well AND the watch screen still has ZERO scratches - the Ion-X glass of my '6' is better than I thought then. However............It seems no-one sells these watch cases any more - or just not in the same dark blue colour, to fit a Watch 7 or 8, so I still wear the '6'. I have not got a 7 or 8 or any other 'smart watch', since this type of case IN THE RIGHT COLOUR & made of the same flexible resin - that allows it to be fitted & removed easily (for cleaning the watch & case, fitting a new strap) WITHOUT scratching the watch case or screen - is not available now from 'Spigen' via Amazon store. I would DEFINATELY recommend putting one of these on an Apple Watch from new since they can't come off without removing the watch strap first. A very good feature. ONE minor gripe (hopefully NOT caused by the resin case), is that some TINY amounts of 'blue' anodising colour have come away from the aluminium case edge - on the back exactly where the edge of the 'sensors' meets the edge of the aluminium case. NOT happy about that, especially IF the edge of the 'hole' in the back of the resin case allowing the sensor to work, has caused it!

This watch protection is perfect, it does a great job of protecting the main body of my watch and has a raised lip so the screen is just away from Any flat surface! I work in an engineering environment and this case Is standing up to the abuse I give it! 100% would recommend! Only thing i should have done was get a glass screen protector. Great value for money and I can honestly say that all my Apple devices have had Spigen cases or screen protection and they have all been great quality! Spigen is not cheap or tacky! Good quality materials and design and well worth every penny!

I use this on my SE 44mm. This case fits snug and keeps me from feeling like I have to be careful with my watch. The case keeps me from hitting the screen on different things throughout the day. I read several reviews that said it scratches your watch because of how tight it fits and mine is snug but not enough for it to scratch it. I have taken my watch out of it to clean it several times and have not noticed any scratches period. Big, small nothing. I have been using this case for about two months and so far it’s exceptional. I also use a Spigen on my iPhone ! Great products! Everyone ask me where I get my cases and I always send them to Spigen!

Bad material with worst packaging, the color not white it’s like creamy with bad finish, don’t wast your mony
