A supernatural fantasy from the best-selling creator of Full Moon and The Gentlemen's Alliance โ ! Sakura is the granddaughter of a mysterious moon princess who slew demons with her Blood Cherry Blossom sword. All her life Sakura has been forbidden to look at the full moon without knowing why. Then one night, unhappy over her impending marriage, Sakura gazes up at the moon, only to see a demon attacking her... The battle between Kohaku and Shuri has ended, but Sakura is still being held captive by Enju. Sakura tries to convince her brother that there are humans who will accept the moon people, but he will not back down. Enju tells Sakura she will soon need to choose sides and whom she is to destroy... Review: Great - Fighting, action, ninja and funny scenes you will love it I give it 10/ 10 I do recommend it because its great!! Review: It gets more confusing - If you have problems with spoilers, don't go further, okay? Okay, so with this volume, not only does the creator (in a side panel conversation with the reader) explain that she may be either a third or only a quarter of a way through the story, but things keep being messy. We discover that, when Kohaku fell back from her attack by Shuri, the blood on her had actually come from Shuri, who is still hoping to find a way to make Kohaku happy. He apologizes to Enju for his failure, but Enju merely says it must have been hard for Shuri to fight against his former comrades. Sakura, saddened by the grief and physical harm which both sides are taking, tells her brother to let her return to Aoba, but Enju assumes she's brainwashed for believing that humans and "people of the moon" could co-exist, and tells her that in spite of her tender heart, she will have to destroy either her brother and his group, or Aoba and all the friends she has among the "human" side. The fact that neither side is entirely innocent makes this more difficult. Aoba tells Hayate, still in his human form, to look after Kohaku, who has collapsed after her struggles before he goes with Byakuya and Asagiri to try to get Sakura. Once there, Ukyo, Asagiri's former lover, places himself before the human group and announces that he wishes to fight Asagiri. At this point, we get more of Asagiri's story, and see how she came to destroy her village and incur the curse on herself afterwards. Asagiri claims that she has the advantage in this fight, because she no longer loves Ukyo, but things are yet to get started in that battle. The book ends with a completely different story about an angel named Rose who is bored with things in Heaven, so she wants to become human for a while. Her friend, Macaroon (a cute boy angel), tries to secure the various ingredients for a witch to turn Rose into a human, but discovers that the spell will only work for a short period of time. Opera, the witch who creates the magical chocolates for the spell, only wants an angel's tear in return... but after her time among humans, Rose has had so much fun that she can't cry. It's kinda silly, but the art's nice. There are also a collection of different "shorts" about characters in various other stories that the creator did over time (I*O*N, Gentleman's Alliance, and so on), as well as a few self-parodying shorts. Make of that what you will. It's hard to figure out where things are going next in this story, although there's a definite sense that Sakura will have to choose either to destroy her brother, the man she loves, or herself, and I'm wondering if Aoba's birth symbol (which is either "birth" or "life") will be the resolution to this dilemma, although the creator's being very cagey about whether she knows how it's meant to end. Oh well... it does look pretty.
