is there anything on the bin to rust please?

The bin is 100% plastic, so nothing will rust. The pedal looks like metal but is in fact plastic.

can someone tell me the dimensions? many thanks

This bin measures 29cm wide x 23cm deep x 44cm high. BUT the inside removeable bin is a lot smaller - 25w x 16d x 37h. Too small as a kitchen bin, even with all the recycling we do. Might be ok if you are a single working person. Certainly caught me out, as I thought it would be nice and neat in kitchen for two people, but found I was emptying it every day or every other day.

hi, could you tell me what the exact INTERNAL dimensions are of the bin L x W x H in mm please

Dear JohnThank you for your online Amazon question. I have measured the simplehuman 10L bin, please see below both inner bucket size and the binBucket Depth - 29.5cmLength - 29.2cmWidth - 16.2cmBinWidth - 16.7cmLength - 29.8cmDepth - 29.8cmIf you have any more queries please do not hesitate to contact us.Kind regardsCharlotte

Hi Is this bin a bright, prestine white or a warmer, creamer shade of white? many thanks

It's an attractive, sturdy bin and a good size. I'm not so good on the various shades of white but to me it looked pleasant and not a harsh clinical white
