UEi Test Instruments EM201B Test Dual Input Differential Manometer

I own another pressure meter but it is only accurate to about 0 01 psi (about 0.3 in wc) which is not enough for the measurements I needed. This meter provided repeatable measurements well below 0.001 psi. I am very impressed. It comes with a very thick rubber surround which has two powerful magnets embedded. The magnets are very handy to hold the meter on ferrous metal surfaces. Yhe housing of the meter itself is very thin plastic. That put me off at first but the rubber surround is so sturdy th he case material doesn't really matter. I left a voicemail with customer service with a technical question and they actually called me back with an answer. That's unusual these days. The user interface is completely intuitive to use so you really don't have to learn or remember anything. They claim it will run for 500 hrs on one 9V battery. If it gets 10% that I'll be happy and it will exceed my other meter. This meter costs double my other meter but it is much higher resolution and accuracy. I wish I would have bought this one to start with.

I purchased this so that I could verify and adjust the gas pressure on my furnace. The air coming out of the vents was cold when the heater came on and I knew this could be the issue. I replaced my filter just to be safe and then crawled up into the attic, made my connections and discovered the pressure (set previously almost a year ago) had been set way too low. Checked the manufacturer info and made the adjustment...........done. The Manometer is made very well and worked perfectly for me. Just a word of caution; if you are unsure about how to go about doing this always call a professional, this should not be done by just anyone. I do have experience in the A/C and Heating industry which is why I did it myself.

There are so many uses for this tool. It takes a lot of guess work out of troubleshooting heating and cooling equipment. Check gas pressure, draft pressure, static pressure on duct work ect.

Works good for measuring low side of propane regulator only (output), not made to check a dual regulator system (high side 10#).

Was not able to test. The battery compartment door, plastic pins were broken and the battery would not stay in the tester. Had to return.

Setting up a new 125k BTU heater in the shop. This helped me set the manifold WC. Very easy to use.

Was looking to purchase an incline manometer for reading low differential pressures on sensitive air switches. The price for this was a bit more than a manometer and I am so happy I purchased this test meter instead!! No fussing to get a manometer set up, find a place to hang one, etc. when working on equipment. The meter price was less than many and more than some, but based on the reviews I purchased it and have been completely satisfied. This has saved so much time and hassle it has already "paid for itself" easily.
