Whitney Houston is so Amazing! What a Voice! Her Live Performaces CD/ DVD is even more beautiful than I can ever imagined. God blessed us with a beautiful singer with so much amazing talent to sing no matter live, or for a album that we will probably not experience again. I have majority of Whitney's albums, and they are amazing alone. What a beautiful voice. As I listened to her sing at every performance The Super Bowl, For the soldiers of the Persian Gulf War, South Africa Concert and her first live performance on the Merv Griffin Show in 1983, her voice is so beautiful like no other. I am so touched by her magical voice. And just recently I wrote a poem in sweet and fond memory of this beautiful voice of all time and I have to share it. It is called "This Song is For You" in honor of the Great Whitney Houston. I will miss her beautiful sound that in my heart will live forever. I Love You Whitney. The CD came in good condition

If you love great soul music and powerful vocals, Whitney Houston needs no introduction. This is the 'FIRST' ever live album officially released which covers her epic performances throughout her career. Buy this cd/dvd set and you will enjoy this legend's soaring,powerful gospel driven vocal riffs and runs and they are nothing short of amazing! What took them so long to release a live album of whitney and here we are, with a collection of beautifully remastered and restored footage and audio. This dvd is proof that a voice like whitney, comes only once in a lifetime. This set contains an audio cd and a second disc which is a dvd. Footage and audio are excellent, nice booklet with liner notes and a write up about the release. i only wished that they could have included whitney's performances of i will always love you from VH1 divas 1999 and didn't we almost have it all. BUY this and you won't regret, price is only small compared to the sheer enjoyment you will get from owning this set. one word, "FANTASTIC."

I've been anxiously waiting for the release of this cd/dvd. It's Whitney at her best and each performance is incredible. Being a huge Whitney fan I have seen and own most of these performances but to have them all consolidated on one cd/dvd is just the best. This album reminds us fans why Whitney rose to fame so quickly with her powerful clear voice and her very unique interpretation of songs. If you're a Whitney Houston fan you need to buy this collection of songs and performances. If you're not, you will become a fan after hearing her sing these songs with her incredibly powerful voice. Who knows, if enough of us buy this their might be a Volume II release in the future. It's always great to have a star of her caliber remembered and her musical talent honored like this. I can't honestly pick a favorite they are all outstanding songs. Buy this you'll enjoy all of her great performances remastered - a joy to hear one of the greatest voices of our time.

I'll start off by saying that this is not a review of Whitney or her voice, but of the product in question. Like a couple of other reviewers mentioned, while many of these live performances are amazing, there are several that were strangely omitted (hopefully for a volume 2?) and the fake ending/editing of I Believe in You and Me from the 2004 World Music Awards (it was originally a medley of that + I Will Always Love You) - one of my all-time favorites of hers - is a weird choice. Given that I Will Always Love You is by far her biggest hit of all time, it would have been fine to have it in the medley and the separate version from her amazing show in South Africa). The biggest ding is for the DVD. I understand that not everyone has an HDTV, but the picture quality of the menu is pretty poor, and so are the video transfers from her earlier/earliest performances. 1983 was a long time ago technology, but the video quality isn't significantly better than what's available on YouTube, so I guess I expected a little more magic retouching or improving the quality of the picture. Sound-wise, the fact that she sang "Home" into a talk show studio microphone explains the sound quality but.. still. All of that said, these are some of my favorite performances of any artist in history - especially One Moment in Time, the Bodyguard medley from the AMA in 1994, and of course - I Believe in You and Me. Her performance of that was especially heartbreaking because - as you can see from the video - she had been beaten down pretty badly by drugs and just the general state of her life, and the fan reception she got was amazing. Unfortunately love from fans wasn't enough to save her. RIP, Whitney.

I have been a Whitney Houston fan since I was 12 years old and remember hearing her voice waking up and thinking this is something different. Throughout the years I realized there was and will never be any one like her. She sung effortlessly... No strain.. Just amazing.. Beautiful tone coming from her mouth.. Ordering this DVD took me back to the days when I first heard her voice. It's electrifying and gave me chills... There will never be another like her. Never. This is worth every dime in my opinion

The Album Is Grest Amazing Live Songs From Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston was one of the greastest recording artists of all time. I think that she sounded even better live than she did in the studio. As someone who had the opportunity to see Whitney in concert live three times, I had first-hand experience of how powerful her performances actually were. Each one of the performances I saw were transcendent experiences for me. People who were too young to remember Whitney at her finest or never had the opportunity to see her live are in for a real treat. This album is a musical timeline of Whitney's career. Many fans could cite performances that should have been on the CD, but I think Clive Davis has put together a nice collection of Whitney's best performances.
