Quality product - from packaging, to build, to sound
I bought this after several weeks of looking at YouTube videos and reviews of mesh drum kits. I nearly bought a second hand Alesis kit but decided to treat myself with a new kit. The demo videos of the Carlsbro CSD400 seemed to have a better sound quality- and they're absolutely true. The first thing that impressed me was the clearly labelled packaging which helps you get on with putting the thing together. The assembly instructions are OK but on one of the images, they have the module on the snare arm, which is wrong. The build quality is excellent. Everything seems solid and well made. I got the kit up and running within an hour of opening the box. I have only tried listening to it through headphones - it was midnight :-) but I have to say that it sounds great. I also played along to music on my phone via the AUX input and it's easy to use the module and phone volume controls to get a decent mix. The default kits sound great but I am looking forward to creating a custom kit. The thing that impressed me on the YouTube video was some of the Tom sounds - I will add these to 'my' kit.
