39" Samurai Champloo Mugen's Typhoon Swell Sword

For the $43 I paid this item is incredible. I love the handle's feel and length, works very well. The aesthetics are perfect, and although there was a lot of wax at first, taking it out a few times and cleaning it fixed the problem. (I'd rather have more wax than too little and it gets ruined) The shoulder-piece was a little hard to get right at first, but I just had to tighten it as much as possible and it stayed perfectly straight up. The blade seemed a little loose/wobbly upon arrival, but that is merely the bottom piece of the handle being loose, simple glue fix, or can use that for the hidden tanto if I hollow it out right. The hand-guard is a lot more sturdy/impressive than I first expected, easily my favorite part of the sword. You will have to sharpen it yourself if you want to actually try to cut with it, but it has a nice starting base to sharpen. Tl;Dr- solid blade, solid style, impressive guard/handle. worth.

Samurai Champloo is one of my girlfriend’s favorite anime’s and when I found this I knew it would be a perfect gift. Despite some of the reviews saying “the hilt was bent upon arrival” or “the blade was loose in the handle”, the one I got was in perfect condition. No damage to the sword or hilt, the blade was sturdy in the handle, there was a good bit of oil or grease on the blade but it wiped right off with a cloth and looks amazing. The only negative thing I have to say about this experience is that I had to order a second one because it was damaged in transit, which is no fault of the vendor but to the shipping company. Although it didn’t arrive before her birthday, the look on her face when she opened it up was priceless!

Yes this sword may not be a perfect trie steel sword but this is a perfect purchade for a damurao champloo fan the is a great likeness of mugans sword its pretty strurdy and ot is a little waxy but its a really nice sword retyimg the shoulder strap seems necessary as i expected but for goos reason depending on how u wanna hold it on ur back its agrest

The sword looks excellent and is mostly metal. Pretty hefty and off-balance but it's not really meant for swinging around as much as it is to hang on your wall and look cool (Which is does extremely well). The product LOOKS amazing and is very accurate with the patterns and coloring. Only bummer is the sheath is just a thick plastic which makes the sword awkward to sling over yourself for cosplay since so much weight is concentrated on the handle. Still, very cool replica and I think the only one that exists for Mugen's sword (that I could find). Excellent decor and good enough for cosplay

It's an identical replica of Mugen's sword great attention to detail. All metal parts are nice and solid, even the bronze accents. I love it!

This sword is very cool, and I loved the anime. However, its poorly built. The bottom piece of the handle fell off for me right out of the box, and the blade isnt in line with the tsuba. In the saya (shieth) there was a ton a wax. Too much. When you would pull out the sword it would get all over the blade. This sword was $45, though, and not meant for use. It looks very nice, just leave it in it's saya for display.

This was a great product, i bought it for my brother because he and i are both big fans of the show. although its not an exact replica its still really awesome. Just a little stuff on the blade which is expected because the sheath is wooden and wax a 2 minute clean. its meant to be a show piece not thrown around.

High quality display sword; the only complaint is the poor quality sash, but that's easily remade! If you're buying this for a cosplay and don't want to sew your own sash, please please PLEASE at least just hem the tan part down so the green triangles meet the edge.
