"Panic" hardware just refers to the class, or style of the hardware. Building/fire codes require hardware that will allow a door to open with just a push in case of panic caused by a fire or other emergency.

Will this work with concealled hardware? There are 2 rods inside door when you push in on exit device it pulls rods down to unlock

No this is a surface mount panic device. You will have to find manufacturer of door and get one through a dealer of there product . Those concealed panics are usually proprietary to brand.

Terrific quality at a great value.

I needed to have a panic bar installed in a basement door as part of our yearly fire marshall inspection of our building. I checked around with local installers and the prices I got were ridiculous. After seeing this and reading the installation instructions I decided to do it myself. It went on without any issues and works perfectly. So I saved quite a bit and it is a quality product.

Inaccurate product specs.

The dimensions are inaccurate. This item is not 36" in length. It is actually 32" in length. The item does not work well for narrow style commercial storefront doors.

Exactly as specified, ans easy to install

Install took about 20 minutes. I was able to install 3 of these on wood framed glass doors. The Instructions were simple, and only needed a drill, drill bit, and powered screwdriver.

Good hardware at a bargain price point

Seems to be well made hardware that was fairly easy to install. Needed to convert and existing door to panic hardware and this got the job done at a bargain price. READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE you start!!! This is a somewhat complex conversion and you will want to make sure that you have all the necessary tools. Some of the self tapping screws would not work and we had to substitute better quality screws. Would have been 5 stars if not for that. Make sure you know what size drills to use before you start. It would be easy to make the holes too large for the self tapping screws to get a good bite.

Perfect replacement,

Purchased 2 of these to see if they would replace my 20 year old dance studio push bars. Instructions were adequate and I had no problems with the installations. After a year, I ordered another 3 and I've had no problems with any of them.

Don't fit 32 inch door

It say it suppose to fix door from 28 to 32 inch door but the bar with the end cap is longer than 32 inch.
