The unicorn version has whimsical things like fairies and mermaids. I had wondered what the difference was because there are so many. We have another ladybug one waiting for her birthday so I will be able to tell more of the differences soon, but we are very happy with the design of this. The cover also feels very sturdy so it's a keeper!

Twin Granddaughters' Love These!
The whole series of these felt flapped books are wonderful! They are well made, withstanding many readings. The girls love the felt flaps and are constantly peeking under them. The stories are very cute with colorful pictures and easy to comprehend story lines. Santa is putting a couple in their stockings this year. Delightful. Engaging fun for my 14 month old twin Granddaughters. This grandma will be buying many more!

Felt Flaps are a Win!
Finally, the perfect solution to younger babies who love lift-a-flap books! After many other flap books had been destroyed, ripped, eaten or chewed, these people were brilliant to use felt. The felt flaps are durable and soft for tiny hands to use. If they choose to pull they do not rip. If they choose to chew it does not hurt. This book will not meet the fate that previous other flap books met. The graphics are really cute. The unicorn version has whimsical things like fairies and mermaids. I had wondered what the difference was because there are so many. We have another ladybug one waiting for her birthday so I will be able to tell more of the differences soon, but we are very happy with the design of this. The cover also feels very sturdy so it's a keeper!

My little granddaughter enjoyed this
My little 1.5 granddaughter loved this book. Felt flaps and sturdy pages are great. Much better than cardboard or paper flaps which break easily. This whole series of books is quality. Own many. Just wish more words.

Hands on for babies
This book is so pretty and my five month old loves it. She’s figured out how to pull the felt flaps down to reveal the characters, it pulls her attention. Definitely recommend for little girls.

My granddaughter loves this book, everytime we read it she wants me to read it a million more time, so every now and then I have to hide it so we can read more books.

Great early reader series
Simple books with colorful pages and felt flaps to reveal the rest of the picture. My baby LOVES these books and the felt flaps are easy for her to flip and pull down. The mirror at the end is always a highlight.

My baby loves this book!
I had borrowed a few other books in this series from the library and was psyched to see there are even more available online. My baby loves all of these books, so I can't single out the unicorn one specifically as they're all basically identical. BUT they are a hit - and this one has particularly cute graphics of fantastical animals. The best part is the durability; it would take a fair bit for my kid to destroy the felt flaps. The mirror at the end is an extra nice touch that always brings on a smile.

Great book, but the mirror was distorted
One of my daughters favorite books, she's 9 months old, wasn't really into books until we got this one and "Never touch a dinosaur". The flaps are pretty durable, she's stretched one by yanking really hard but otherwise she can pull them and they stay strong. The mirror at the back was a bit distorted and so not easy to see herself, hence the 4 stars.
