Bought this book for my granddaughter, wonderful board book for a younger child 1-2 year old.

My two year old grandson had ripped the pages from the old book, and he missed it, so I ordered another one.He practically can read it on his own. Love Dr. Seuss books

A must have for kids

This book was good for its intended use - a Dr. Seuss story in a sturdy format. What I found difficult was the “adaptation” part. Many of us (and our children) grew up listening to “Green Eggs and Ham” being read over and over. We knew the cadence that went with those familiar rhymes, and how they flowed through the story. This version was NOT it. Sure, it followed the general storyline, and in the end he liked his “green eggs and ham”. BUT…getting there put me on the struggle bus. The rhymes just did not flow at all, and the story deviated somewhat from the original. Reading this (for me) was so painful, I hid the book from my grandchild so she couldn’t ask me to read it again. If the story is new to you, or if the different rhyme pattern won’t be bothersome, go for it. You will enjoy this sturdy book with an important story about trying new things. If you are expecting/hoping for something more familiar, buy the original.

The kids loved them and can tell me the story as though they can read so easy to remember bless them

I bought this for a toddler. It is very child resistant and sturdy quality. It has sturdy pages and will not tear.
