Exactly how big are the holes on this net?

1.5 by 1.5 inches, but they stretch to larger holes when the net is extended (pulled) in either direction.

I understand its not legal to use this as a fishing net, but i was curious to know if it was of a good enough quality to be used as such.

I guess it depends on the type of fish. But I do believe that the quality of this particular net would suffice.

what about fishing nets made from twin not from nylon

I don't know how well one holds up against the other. It seems to me that nylon, being a synthetic, will not deteriorate like twine will eventually. I strung my netting across a wall by my pool and use it to hang our towels with clothespins to dry.

would i be able to glue this to a bra?

There isn't much surface for gluing and not sure it would hold any tugging. You could stitch it on with a few thin thread stitches. Maybe forget about the bra and just wear the net tied around.
