Wow, this is awesome!
My grandson is a space nut, and very smart, so I got him this book for his birthday, and he loves it! It has beautiful pictures, space facts, and so much info that anyone interested in our universe would find fascinating. He's happy, so Grandma is happy! :)

Much more than a "Space Atlas"
Much more than a "Space Atlas": 1.A brief history of man's understanding of the universe. 2. The Solar system: early concept to the most current, completed with astrological and modern charts; up-to-date sections on each planet, with glorious photos. the same treatment for the Milky Way galaxy and the universe. 3. Edwin Hubble, Island Universes and the Big Bang . 4. If you need a challenge: the last chapter introduces Quarks and String Theory.

Gift for space nerd spouse
My husband is really into space, and is always looking to learn more. He also loves to know what things look like when learning about stuff, and I mean, who doesn't? This book does have pictures, but they aren't as in depth and informational as I'd like. It's better than nothing. I'm not wild about the wear on the outer sleeve, but at least none of the pages seem damaged.

Very interesting and fun to read.
This book has a lot of interesting information about pretty much everything in space, I really like it.

This book arrived in perfect condition nothing was broken or damaged. It arrived in 2 days. It is the perfect book for a person who likes space. There is a lot from the universe to the planets, from the Milkyway galaxy to astrophysics. It is just cool. Go for it if you like stars and space
