Does it have a discharge function?

No discharge function, only fast charging function

I can’t see how to load in AAA batteries.

The positive end of the AAA battery goes up against the center of the unit (just like with the AA batteries), and the negative end of the AAA battery goes against a springy metal contact that is down low in the unit, and is closer in toward the center of the unit than is the negative contact on the very outside of the circle that is used for the longer, AA batteries.

How is this powered? Does it use a standard 120V 2 prong wall plug? Does it come with the charging disc?

es, it can charge 1 to 16 aa or aaa batteries at once

How long does it take to charge?

I have 6 game cameras that require 8 AA batteries each. I keep a supply of charged batteries to replace all cameras monthly. While recharging batteries, some will charge within 30 minutes While some take 3 or more hours. I check their charging progress hourly and pull the charged batteries and replace them with those batteries needing recharging.
