Garlic Quality was very poor. As you can see in these pictures. The light color pieces in the pictures I uploaded are the only good ones. The darker brownish ones are all squishy bad. The item was shipped US Mail, which took 3 days with nothing to keep it cool. The bag was bloated when I opened the box. My entire home smells like garlic gone bad. This item can not be returned or refunded. This was the fault of the seller and not desertcart or me. What's to keep sellers from shipping old product, out of date product, damaged product and use the no refund, no exchange clause that allows them to ship crap like this with no penalty to them.

The product is great with a competitive price, since it was shipped from California and it took 3 days to arrive without any indication that it needed refrigeration, it would have been appropriate to include a cold pack. I like it and would buy again!

Rotten
If zero was an option I would put zero stars. Item had such a pungent odor of rotting garlic that when I opened the box it arrived in I gagged. The item is not fresh but actually rotten. I paid way too much money to not be able to use the product.

Value ,very good. China grown, questionable.
This product arrived in a very fresh state. I usually pound the garlic once or twice to release the potent allicin component. It usually releases a potent smell. I didnt get that. The garlic seemed more fibrous. I ended up fermenting it in honey and it came out quite good. I'd be reluctant to use it in any other capacity.Something is different in the way this is grown. You cant beat California garlic, and this Chinese product doesn't measure up for me.
