Does this product have a scent or an odor to it after it is baked?

This product has no added scent. It has a very minimal plastic smell after cooling as would be expected with this type of material. Scent oils can be added prior to pouring or to finished lures after cooling. As with any plastic some fumes will be present during melting and the product should be used only in a well ventilated area.

can this be used to make those new fidget toys the ones that pop?

This product is used for making soft plastic fishing lures. It is not recommended for other uses.

What types of pigments can I use?

You have to use pigments and glitters specifically for lure plastisol as they have to take the heat needed to melt the plastisol. We offer our own line of Effex pigments that are pre-blends of pigment, pearls, and glitters to make specific colors.

Is this a floating plastisol?

Xsol is neutral buoyancy and Maxsol is floating.
