Best Brand For Your Uke
In my opinion, the best ukelele strings out there. Soft enough for tender fingers, and I have some right now on my baritone that have lasted at least a year even though a string is tufting.

Quality strings at a fair price.
I have played guitars for years but the tenor ukulele is the newest toy for me and after some weeks now, I am absolutely having a ball with it. I am not sure what strings were on my ukulele when I bought it but my first set of purchased strings were Aquila with the high g and I really liked them. Now, my second purchased set of string are the same brand but with the low G string. If you are new to the ukulele like myself, some really novice information for you is that the lower G really fills out the sound and seems to fit more naturally into the scale of things but the high G is kinda cool too. The high g tends to be more in line for the more banjo style picking and well just more interesting strumming sounds and styles and harmonics, in general. Just now really starting to understand how versatile this instrument can be. I definitely like the Aquila brand. Today, it is more of just having a dilemma on which G to play with because both have their own merits. Probably will have to go and buy another ukulele so I can have both options. Always, open minded to hear and learn from those out there that have the experience so please feel free to respond.

Sounds good.
Worked good on my ukulele.

Slippery strings
I found the strings to play somewhat muted; not a very bright sound. Also, the strings are somewhat slippery, resulting in misplayed chords.

Affordable and easy to DIY
Well priced, arrived quickly, and very easy to swap with a few YouTube videos. A string winder is recommended but I had no issues just turning the pegs manually during the process. The low G wound string adds a beautiful depth to my tenor like and makes it feel like a brand new instrument.

Great strings! Buy some extra though - the wound 4th string won't last very long.
Five stars overall - great sounding strings. Be aware that the wound 4th string won't last as long as the others that come with this set. Aquila's website warns you of this, but the amazon product page does not. From Aquila's website: "Please read: the wound strings used for all Aquila ukulele sets such as soprano low G, concert low G, tenor low G, baritone in guitar tuning, and a few other varieties that use a wound string, use a very fine wire wrapping on the wound strings in order to produce their excellent tone. These strings do not have the long life span of the more durable but poor sounding wound strings offered by other manufacturers. Players who use Aquila ukulele sets with wound strings please be aware that the wound strings will need to be replaced much more often than the plain Nylgut strings that make up the rest of the set. We advise that players purchase 3 or 4 extra single wound strings with every set. When played often a wound string may last only about 1-2 weeks, which is also dependent on the condition of the frets. This is considered to be normal wear for these strings and is not a defective string. Thank you for your understanding."

Just ok strings
This strings are just ok - I bought two packs and returned the second. The C string is a bit dull. After putting it on I started shopping for a better set, and left the rest of my old strings on. These strings will do in a pinch but they’re not very full or inspiring.
