Samsung Galaxy Watch Wireless Charging Dock / Charger (EP-YO805) 2015 through 2020 models - Couch Black

This is actually a Samsung charger. Literally says it on the side. Charges perfect. Looks great. I know it's on the higher side as far as money, but it's worth it! The quality is spot on. Doesn't overheat.

This is an OEM part. As Samsung no longer has them in stock, I went looking on Amazon. The first one I found was only $16 and had a ton of great reviews. I should have known better and listened to the bad reviews talking about overheating, not fully charging, taking too long to charge, etc. My wife's watch (the 42mm Gear S3) wouldn't sit in it correctly so you had to play with it before the watch would recognize the charging field and then it would only get to about 90% charge. Plus, the base would overheat! It smelled like hot plastic anytime it was charging! Caveat emptor! In the end, I ordered this one and couldn't be happier. It actually uses the correct voltage, the watch recognizes it right away, and a full charge (from about 10%) only takes 2.5 hrs. Plus, no smell of hot plastic!

This is exactly what I needed. My watch stopped charging using the one that came with my Samsung Galaxy 5E75 smart watch.

I had ordered 2 refurbished Galaxy Watches that came with 3rd party chargers, and I didn't like how they were charging. Samsung recommends using their own charging base to make sure you don't have any issues so I picked up two of these to replace the 3rd party ones. These work great!! My watches have been charging up fast with these bases. They don't come with a power supply or a micro USB cord, but almost everyone has a thousand of those already lying around the house these days. The price is good for a real OEM product. I definitely recommend one of these if you ever need a replacement.

Does not work! Charger just blinks a red failure light.

I tried and bought a sub-par charger and my watch would barely charge. With Samsung, it's like Apple, in the sense of having to use their products together to achieve continuity. BS. I think it may be overpriced, but ya sort of need it if ya want your device to charge/work properly. It does the job it's built for.

The charger seems to be an original one. Today when I received the charger on time, started charging my watch and it perfectly charged to 100%. Will keep you posted after using it for a week and so. Found no heating or any other concerns. --------- Update after using 12 months: Charger is original and working perfectly

This charger is very important for me, I give this wacth to my mother, but she pass away, I was able to get the wacth back but no chager. When I saw the Amazon reviews it worries me, but I took my chances.... the cable came with it. It works fine. Thank you.
