Can i cut the plug off and wire this straight into 1.5m light cable

Not sure what you mean with the question. It comes with a bullet connector that attaches the light to a switch. Its about 12 inches of cord before the switch. Then about 5 ft of cord that runs to a power adapter that converts hi voltage to low voltage.

Why has the light suddenly started flashing when i switch it on? Can this be sorted?

Will this fit inside a cabinet as doesn’t seem much space between board and cupboard edge?

It couples only with the target, if it has a closet it does not fit
