I have been working on my lawn for the past three years. I have tall fescue and creeping red fescue. Granular LESCO weed and feed have worked, but have been spotty. May be due to ran and terrain. Application of a liquid herbicide was easy with Chapin 15 gal mix on exit tow behind sprayer. careful check after application yielded evidence that the entire lawn was covered. Time will tell, but easy to use and cost was reasonable

Product arrived in good shape. It will do as expected.

I applied as directed in August, before a big rain. It does appear to have greatly reduced the number of weeds. The only problem is getting a big rain to happen so I can apply it again! It was also helpful to add some temporary dye (sold for this purpose) to the mixture, to tell where I had already applied it. Update, 2 years later: This stuff has made my life SO much easier! I used to spend a large part of my time regularly pulling weeds, to stay ahead of them going to seed. Now I just spray a mixture of this around every 4 months when a major rain is expected (I found that some dish soap seems to work well as surfactant). Getting near the end of the bottle, but still have some from my original purchase left - so while this is pricey, it lasts a long time (as it is concentrated) and IMHO, is priceless ;-)

I've used this product for multiple years to apply the barrier to keep various lawn weed seeds from popping. In Phoenix, I apply in January after the dip for our cold temperatures passes before the soil warms enough to trigger dormant weed seed sprout -- of the seeds that have been blowing and landing in the dormant Bermuda grass. Your timing will differ. Fortunately, I don't have crabgrass in my yard, but I did use it to try and control the crabgrass in son's yard. For that, you add surfactant for any post emerging crabgrass. I will sometimes make a second pass a few months later for the spotted spurge seeds that seem to carry everywhere. I mix this up in my 4 gallon backpack sprayer, add the blue dye and spray the whole lawn, except any patches where I need to add seed -- allowing an unsprayed buffer zone. Buying in economy size is my approach. Seems to have decent shelf life.
