Accepted Answer

DACHA Nutrition Liposomal Vitamin C is produced in the United States, in a state-of-the-art FDA facility. The ingredients and raw materials we used are also sourced from the USA.

At DACHA, we prioritize the health of our customers, thus we consider everything that affects the quality of our final product. For example, we scrutinize the raw materials, the suppliers, the laboratory and manufacturing standards, all to ensure that our products conform to the FDA’s verified good manufacturing practices - known in the industry as GMPs. We ensure that all our raw materials undergo scientific lab analysis and are subject to testing and screening processes. Our products also meet or exceed nutraceutical and food grade requirements. We have corresponding certificate of analysis for each single ingredient that we source and source each ingredient from where our customers can get the best health benefit from.

Question 2

I thought liposomal vitamin c was always liquid. Is this liposomal with the same bio-availability as the Liv-On product?

Accepted Answer

Hi W.B. Malkus,

Thank you for letting us know about your concerns.

Regarding bioavailability in comparison to other products, I don’t have a direct answer to that as we are not one to compare with other brands specifically nor would we want to discredit another product. Every brand, and I believe each of its products, have strengths on its own. What I can say for sure is that 100% of our ingredients are listed on our product pages and transparency is one of our values that make DACHA stand out.

Thanks for sharing your opinion, both on our FAQ page and Reviews. Here’s our response to your concern posted in November 2018. We certainly appreciate your concerns and understand that you are a very big fan of another brand; however, I am afraid you might have a wrong understanding of liposomal technology.

There are two different liposomal technology, liquid and dry, and we use the latter one. Our encapsulated powder contains the phospholipids mixed together with the Vitamin C in a format which allows liposomes to form immediately upon the capsule opening inside the digestive tract. When the capsule opens in an aqueous environment (digestive tract) at body temperature the hydrophobic part of the phosphatidylcholine (PC) associates in a lipid bilayer (liposome) trapping the vitamin C inside.

They are quite similar in terms of being effective and having a positive impact on health. However, we used liposomal technology in dry a form because it has numerous benefits compared to the liquid form. For example, the liquid ingredients are subject to mold and bacteria. Also, the liquid form is much more expensive, should be kept refrigerated and goes bad quickly, especially during summer seasons. So we tried to make something more practical and economically viable for everyone. Also, many LIQUID forms contain ALCOHOL and SOY Lecithin. But, if you want your liposomal vitamin c with SUNFLOWER Lecithin, NO alcohol and with NO bad taste, we have our Liposomal Vitamin C in dry form made available for you.

I hope this helps to clarify any confusion or misunderstanding.
