Unique Super Digest-It Bio-Enzymatic Acid-Free Drain Opener and Clog Remover for Household Use (128 fl oz)

This worked so well on our rv sink drains! All of them were really draining slowly, and to top it off, our grey tank was really starting to smell in the summer heat. While my drains weren't clogged, I followed the clogged drain instructions (I didnt measure and was probably a bit heavy handed when eye-balling it). The first treatment helped with both the slow draining and the grey tank smell. Once we filled and emptied they grey tank, I did another "clogged drain" treatment, and that fixed them completely. All the drains are working properly, and the grey tank doesn't smell. I've even emptied and filled it a few times in the last couple of weeks (without treatment) and still no smell. Will definitely be keeping this on hand, and while it does say to do it every month, I'll probably only do it as needed. I probably have 1/2 - 2/3 of a gallon left, so that should last me a while.

Used this "Unique" enzyme-type drain opener for keeping the kitchen sink drain clear. Seems to work fine. I usually dump maybe two gallons of warm water with the drain opener mixed in down the sink before we leave the house for a couple days or so. It will not work on drains such as shower drains where stoppage is caused by build-up of hairs in drain. It literally digests only most organic food products.

I guess drain cleaners aren’t very exciting topics to review, but if you have a septic system (and you want it to function properly), you have to pay attention to what products you use. My plumber told me about Unique after snaking out our kitchen sink for the umpteenth time. It works! You may have to do more than ine application if you have serious problems, but overall, it is much better for the health of your septic system.

I didn't think anything but old school drain cleaners would work on my kitchen sink drain. My son wanted to try this so we ordered. It worked better than I could of imagined, cleared the pipe and had no odor. I will maintain my drain with it and recommend to everyone!

I had been looking for an all natural, green drain cleaner and chanced upon this one. I shouldn't have ignored the negative reviews because they were ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Do not trust the positive reviews, because I believe they were written by the company to mislead consumers. That said, let me share my story. I had a clogged, slow drain in the bathroom, and I used this product EXACTLY ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE. I'm not one of those people who just does whatever with a product without regard to the instructions. I am very strict about instructions. I poured this product down the drain, following the instructions and checked the next morning. NO CHANGE. In fact, I firmly believe it made the clog slightly WORSE. I waited a couple more days, intermittently flushing the sink and watching the drain back up. I tried a second time that evening, following the instructions, and checked AGAIN in the morning. This time, there was no mistaking it: the clog WAS DEFINITELY WORSE!!! For some reason, I did it a third time, praying it would work. Same results as above!! I finally had to call my landlady who used a drain cleaner called 10 Minute Drain Opener, which literally opened the drain in the promised TEN MINUTES. Haven't had a problem thus far with the sink backing up. PLEASE PLEASE I beg of you, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. You would be better off burying your money in the ground instead!!! Real rating: ZERO STARS!!

I followed the directions on the bottle and thought it wasn't working on my slow bathtub drain. I didn't have time to do another treatment for several days, and by then, the drain was running normally, so no need to do it again. Apparently the enzymes keep working until the drain is clear. Very pleased to have a septic safe product to clear the drain.

Meh. Was trying to save my pipes from liquid plumber, but this product is useless

Actually used it against a full clog made of half cooked rice (I know right!). Did not have high hopes, but tradtional chems don't work well on starch or full clogs paat the bend. It fricken melted the stuff to a goo. I did treatments for 2 days, warm water, 3-6 ounces, wait several hours for the sink to drain enough, then repeated. Didn't even use the whole bottle. My husband took a plunger to it on day 3 and it just glooped and drained. Did another treatment and let warm water run a while to keep the goo from relocating. Patience, hope, and biology saved my soul. A pact with the devil was totally being considered.

my bathroom sink had a slow drain, and I ordered this. But being impatient for the shipping, I reluctantly tried a chemical drain opener, and it did nothing! and i hate the idea of pouring chemicals into my drains. When this product arrived, I did the overnight treatment twice and it completely cleared up the drain. I am very very impressed! I don't often review items, but I am really impressed and i'm planning on using it as maintenance once a month in my sinks, toilets and showers. amazing!

But it’s very expensive to use.

Not as fast as some of the heavy duty clog removers, but I like that it claims to be safer and natural (whatever that means!).
