Nutracraft ThyroAid Thyroid Support with Iodine & Selenium, 60 Capsules

I purchased this in combination with the Gaia Adrenal Gland supplement because in the last year i have not felt like myself. I had 95% of the symptoms of problems with my adrenals/thyroid and it was no wonder because my stress was out of this planet. In the last year i have managed to put on 60 POUNDS! Now i have never been a junk food fanatic, fried foods tastes disgusting to me, i hate too much salt, i dont enjoy sodas etc, BUT SUGAR? oh my God without it i feel like i cant live, thats how badly i have been craving sugar AND COFFE. I have NEVER been this obsessed with getting a sugar/caffeine fix in my entire life (im 24) I started to break out all over my body, i did not have any energy, i was so stressed most of the week, that it really did come a time when i was so over stressed that all i wanted to do was lie in bed and watch TV. I was really, truly starting to feel so depressed and miserable with my life. I have never felt so low and so hateful towards myself and others. The last few days since i started taking this along with the Gaia adrenal, i truly feel better. i mean it has only been 4 days since i started taking it, but i can feel something is better about me, i havent had a stressed out moment even though by now i should have had at least a few. Today i had an argument with someone and i felt much more cool on the inside and didn't get way out of hand like i usually would with this particular person. That being said, i feel like something is improving on the inside. I have only been taking 1 of these daily because i was worried if i took more that it might be pushing it, and with taking only 1 in the morning, i feel an improvement. For the first time i have been excited about exercising and also hopeful that i will be able to lose the weight that i have gained this year. I have been taking ThyroAid for a week now. I noticed a difference in just a few days. I have been a text book case of hypothyroidism for many years, however, my thyroid studies have always been within normal limits. I have had T3, T4, TSH and Thyroid Antibody blood work done at least annually. Because conventional medicine didn't help, I saw a naturopath, who definitely felt that I had low thyroid function, especially when I performed the iodine test, and was found to have a low basal temperature. I tried several thyroid support supplements, but never noticed any difference in my health. Recently, I thought I would give it another try, and in reading the reviews on ThyoAid, I decided on this product. Since starting to take it I have noticed the following: restful sleep, wake feeling well rested, alert and lots of energy, no depression, no dry skin, slight weight loss, and a general sense of well being. To sum it up, I feel great...and I will definitely continue to take this product. If you are one of the countless people who suffer from the terrible symptoms of hypothyroidism, I would recommend this product to you. No one can guarantee that it will work the same for everyone, but I think it is worth trying, and if you do, I sincerely hope you notice the positive results that I have.

I've been using this product for over two weeks now. Initially I did not notice any changes but decided to stick with it. I am relatively healthy. I do not suffer from thyroid disease or depression. I do not take any medications. I have always desired to lose a few pounds and it has always been difficult for me, When tested, my thyroid levels have been with in normal range but on the lower end. I have worked in the healthcare field for over 15 years and have been asked by multiple professionals if I have thyroid problems because of a wideness/thickness to my neck. So after years of believing my thyroid may be a bit sluggish I stumbled upon ThyroAid. So far I like it and will continue another month after this supply runs out. I haven't noticed any significant weight loss but I haven't gained any either. Prior to adding ThyroAid, I exercised daily but have not for the past week and a half or so for various reasons. There have not been any changes to my diet either. I am sleeping better, my memory and mood are better and I just feel better overall. In addition, the thickness in my neck is definitely not as noticeable and my neck is actually thinner.

I haven't lost but 2 lbs in 2 weeks but I feel energetic and hopeful and positive . I'm 61 and only walk 2 miles a day and love to cook for my husband, who loves to eat. But having had chemo for lymphoma 6 years ago and now on NO meds, I'm 5'9,, 190 lbs, more than I'd like but strong - think your product can help me without going back on Meds(ugh).

I'm hypothyroid, but my TSH isn't insanely high. I am taking Synthroid (prescription drug for hypothyroidism) and I started taking ThyroAid as a supplement. I didn't notice any gigantic improvements quickly as signs of improvement showed progressively so it was hard to measure, but I did notice some. I haven't taken ThyroAid for 2 months now and my hypothyroid symptoms went back to how bad it used to be (LOTS of hair falling out, extreme tiredness, brain fog, etc.). I've had these symptoms before ThyroAid, but they had improved while on ThyroAid, but now that I've stopped... it has gotten so so bad. SO... lesson learned, getting back on ThyroAid. I need as much help as I can get. I tried Thyroid Support also which is a #1 seller on Amazon (as of 3/26/16), but it wasn't effective for me as ThyroAid. I actually didn't notice any improvements with that supplement. I was only on it for 2 months, but I started noticing an improvement with ThyroAid after one month. Everyone's bodies are different though, but ThyroAid has just been working better for me. Without my Synthroid, I function at 60%. With my Synthroid, I function at 80%. With Synthroid + ThyroAid, I function at 90%. The extra 10% would be awesome and I'm not sure if I will ever reach it, but I'm grateful that the ThyroAid gives me that extra 10% push that I need because I now take my life for granted before my hypothyroidism... every little bit helps.

After labs showed low thyroid function (again) I elected to try a non-prescription supplement and stumbled upon this. The only symptom I noticed prior to the lab was mood swings. I took this for 60 days and got re-tested. There was no noticeable difference in thyroid function, and I still experienced mood swings. I gave in and filled a prescription for Synthroid. It's been about 5 weeks. The mood swings have modified dramatically, and I've lost about an inch around my waist (although I'm pretty fit already and hadn't perceived a problem there). New labs scheduled in about 60 days, but I think I already know the outcome.

I have been taking the supplement for 1 week and so far I have nothing but positive things to say. I could feel a definite difference very quickly and my energy levels have returned to normal for the first time in years. I have been on prescription thyroid medicine for many years but there just never seems to be the right balance of they were constantly changing my doses and wreaking havoc on my system. First it was synthroid, then I requested to switched to Armour a few years ago. Switching to Armour helped since it is a naturally procured medication but there was still a loss of hair, lower than normal energy and the impossible to lose weight, no matter how much exercise or good nutrition. In this week I have been using this supplement to act as "back up" to the Armour, my energy is great and my hair loss has greatly reduced. A little early to tell if this will help me be able to actually reap the benefits of eating well and exercising finally, but I will be happy to update that in a month or so. Even if that does not happen, I will be re ordering this based on how much better I felt so far. I really had forgotten what it was like to be able to wake up early and make it through the day without being so tired it practically hurt. This supplement has given that back to me this week and it is awesome!

I started taking the pills a few days after receiving them. Every time I swallow them, I burp them back up within about 10 minutes. I choked badly one time as it seemed as the inside powder came back up my throat. I thought that was maybe in combination of what I ate, but I consistently burp it up after taking it. There must be something in it I'm allergic to, although I do not know what it could be (other than the capsule the ingredients are in). I was really looking forward to this product helping along with taking my prescribed thyroid medication as from the previous reviews.
