Singapore Math – Level 3B Math Practice Workbook for 4th Grade, Paperback, Ages 9–10 with Answer Key (Volume 10) Review: Wonderful teaching workbook for math! Superb! - These workbooks are supreme if your student or child is working in the Singapore Math. My granddaughter had a lot of trouble with math and understanding/retaining what she learned. Everyone said this would be too hard. I found that she worked so much more independently and came up grade levels all by herself. I came back for one more because she asked for it. This was fabulous! She has Aspergers Syndrome and we tried everything for years to no avail. Two years ago I got her in to Singapore Math and she began to excel immediately. They give pages of examples for the child to look at and try before attempting a page on their own. The child can also go back and look at previous examples to refresh their skill and then accomplish the problem suceessfully. So glad I got these! reasonably priced as well in my opinion! Review: Great book as a stand-alone! - I bought this for my son to work ahead in. There is a formula sheet at the beginning of the book, and several pages for each unit, including review sheets for each unit. My son is able to work on new problems with little difficulty.

They work
Been using these for my boys since they were 5. My oldest just tested into GATE top 5% in California. My youngest is right behind him. These books are fun for them. My wife is a fan of them and her opinion carries more weight as she has her doctorate in education. They are well worth the money.

Very good for extra math practice
Good questions, challenging questions, perfect for supplementary math for kids. I use it with my advanced 3rd and 4th graders.

Very few challenging problems for a 3rd grader. Lot of drill problems. A bit disappointed ...

I have looked through the book and plan to use it with my child at home for extra practice in solving word problems, doing sums and additions with decimals, using money. It has all the contents I want my child to work on for grade 4. Will recommend this workbook for parents and teachers.

The practice book is good as a supplementary material but, unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the Singapore math curriculum. I bought it for my 8 year-old, thinking that it would teach her beyond the UK school curriculum. However, it was just following the school program. My eldest studied in Singapore until 11 years of age. I know what the real Singapore maths should look like. However, it is definitely useful for daily practice.
