harvested? NO and NEVER! The realistic crow is made of goose feathers and duck feathers. These feathers are also used to make head fascinators hat and other decorations.

Can you paint over it?

I guess you could use something like spray in hair color. The birds are covered with feathers so I would say NO to paint.

You just have think of reality, what is 13 inches. I know after we got ours we thought, wow they are small. But in reality that's about correct.

What is the Easiest way to attach? wires are not long enough

I had no luck with these birds in my outdoor cemetery setup because the wire was too short and the bodies were too top heavy. I ended up sticking the wire straight down into a foam tombstone, then throwing the birds away in November.
