Amazing product
If you actually take the time to prep correctly, this stuff works incredibly well. Clean the surface properly with TSP or a similar prep cleaner and you can get a factory-looking finish. I used it to black out the chrome trim on my truck and it came out flawless. Big tip: remove the parts if you can, and spray in a low-dust environment like a garage (with good ventilation). Prep is everything—don’t skip it. 10/10 recommend. Watch a couple DIY videos first, follow the process, and you’ll get great results.

this paint is great and used by a lot of professionals, you will get a good finish but remember preparation is the key, if you do not prep good, NO paint will stick! used for small products that you want a great finish without using the air sprayer!!

Modern OEM Trim in a can
Painted the top mirror cover for my 2015 Forester. Color match is perfect to OEM trim and seems really durable. I used a grey Scotch Brite to roughen the cover'# original paint, hit it with two coats of Duplicolor MP-199 plastic adhesion promotor (10 minutes between first and second coat, 30 minutes to dry before SEM Trim), and then finished with two to three medium coats of SEM Trim Black with around 5 minutes between coats. Adheres perfect to the adhesion promotor. Looks amazing and hoping it lasts long too. So far so good after 2 weeks in heat and rain.

Great application and Great Finish!
Looks awesome on my window trim. Color and matte finish are the same as old paint on my 1988 Land Rover Santana rear side window frames. I've used other trim paint and the SEM seems to be better on all accounts.
