Universal Billet Adjustable Wastegate Actuator with 6 spring 4 Rod

I'm really pleased with this wastegate actuator. I raised the crack pressure and installed the 1.5bar spring. With a 60mm T3 .86 A/R turbo, mounted to a 1.8L I4, this actuator gives the turbo 15psi @ 5000RPM (target pressure) This actuator is how we're regulating boost pressure. We removed the boost controller. My tuner was impressed at the power output. We kept over boosting during the tuning session. Had to back down the crack pressure. The car makes 310whp.

I’ve been trying to make it fit but there’s a lot going on where this has to be installed. There’s the hardpipe to the intercooler, the lower radiator hose, a power steering pump and its hoses and bracket, an oil filter relocation bracket and a couple of huge -AN fittings with custom hoses going to the oil cooler. Could not possibly determine how to fabricate a bracket until everything was in the car, and cannot do the actual work while the drivetrain is in the car. A trial or test fit of the drivetrain was necessary just to figure out what’s needed to mount it. Then it all has to come out to get it done. Still say it’s a beautiful piece. I don’t have any other options at anything like a realistic cost. Definitely slowing me down. It’s really tight down there :(

This wastegate actuator should work for multiple applications, but am using this on a Detroit diesel gm4 turbo. First of all, the quality is top notch. I like that this came with multiple options for rod length and spring pressure. If I am ever in need of another internal wastegate actuator I will purchase this kit.

Product is well made and worth every penny. This seems to be one of the only wastegate actuators with adjustability made for the Holset and related chinese clones. Just finished a 2,860 mile trip with this actuator and it performed flawlessly. With the 7.25psi spring (the smallest available) it ensured my boost would not go beyond 13psi at full throttle on my stock 6.5 GM/Detroit Diesel, even going up 7% grades hauling a 3500lb Lance camper. Definitely recommend if you have a similar configuration.

I have a tomei mx7960 with custom manifold on my genesis. The tomei brand wga had failed 3 times and was no longer repairable. This was actually smaller than the tomei which worked great for fitment issues already had. Whatever your goal psi is, use the spring equal to half that number.

No instructions! Just parts in a box! Bought three thinking I could use them. Frustrated, put them on the shelf and moved on to other option.

It works well and does it's job. I put a turbo on my old yj. The additional springs allowed me to dial it in where I needed it. I will purchase again for my other turbo projects. Update: 5/12/24 This thing has been amazing. It has worked flawlessly. I've been able to set my boost where I want it and it has done it's job well.
