By Popular demand and request, we are making the Bass Dizi series availble on desertcart. Deep, resonant tone and mellow rich sounds are the main request for dizi players who have improved to a level, the need the extra bass in their music. Master Dong Xue Hua's collection is your affordable and yet excellent choice. Standard Model 8881 from the Dong Xue Hua Collection is a basic model meant for aspiring students who wish to have a good tone for standard solo performances and ensemble musicians. It is easily one of the most popular models in mainland China for students without budget, but still would be a good model for most major performances. Using properly dried bamboo, coupled with the decades of experience Lin Yin and her founder Dong Xue Hua has with making flutes for top level musicians, it is a high sought after model for many musicians. The lowest of 3 grades of dizi in regular production, the 8881 has a simple, elegant tone, and near perfect intonation for musicians. Review: bad quality, not worth the price - The first picture shows the dizi with the name "Dong Xue Hua" which I bought. The other pictures let you see what inside the dizi. The BASS G dizi: The inner end of bamboo that connected to the horn is unbelievable rough. There are bumps on the inner surface which can infect the timbre. Even a 2-dollar dizi I have is smooth inside. The bB dizi: The horn of the end is cracked. It doesn't have to be horn. It can be plastic or resin or anything, but no crack plz. The only rating I can give is-Shoddy and poor quality product. As the seller marked, the dizi was made by Dong Xue Hua, a famous dizi maker. And the seller told me "Dong just made it for you" in the phone call though it made me felt strange. But in fact I don't care who made it, what I expected was it worth it's price. I had the last picture that shows the smooth inner end of another dizi I bought with 16 dollars. Do you guys think these dizies worth 90 & 75 dollars before tax? I can keep the dizies, but I ask for 80% refund.
