Amazing week/weekend project!
Words of my husband: Though expensive, the Lego Bugatti is a joy and experience to craft and build; if this duplicates automotive engineering than both the car and Lego designers are pure geniuses, and you learn to respect the design as you build. This is a fun project to zone out on and do a couple hours at a time here and there. The packaging itself is pristine and professional, everything is arranged and categorized beautifully to where you can plan it out. Without spoiling too much, there are two(!) manuals to building this beast! And the manuals themselves are full of photos and art and footnotes from the designers. Though the exterior is very flashy, my favorite parts to build were the engine, vastly complex transmission, and gearbox; and the way these all fit together seamlessly will blow your mind if you're into design and engineering at all. I rarely had trouble or difficulty, but definitely check twice before connected (measure twice, cut once, as a previous reviewer said) as there were a couple times I had to retrace my steps; the car is designed as some parts you make at the beginning will have no purpose until later, and it is just MAGNIFICENT how they all fit together purposely. I also had no missing or flawed pieces, my kit came with about 20 extra pieces actually! (Probably a later print). I really enjoyed my time with this, something best done late at night with some vibey music in the background, unwinding from work. 10/10 recommend, would buy again! I intend on checking out the other kits such as the newer Lamborghini, the Porsche, or the Land Rover.

Great set for Lego lovers.
My son has been a Lego wiz since he was 6. He started focusing more on cars. wanted a set with a lot of pieces, so I decided this could be a perfect fit. He was extremely excited to open this set and he put it together in a few days. It’s still his favorite set. It’s extremely large, so be aware that it will take up quite a bit of space.

Great building experience; worth every penny!
I just can't say enough about this Lego Technic kit. What a wonderful experience. I'm 65 and retired. I spent most of my career servicing large, expensive, complex equipment. At the start of the pandemic, I purchased the Saturn V kit (1969 pieces) to kill some time. I built it and disassembled it twice. Now I have the Lego bug. So......I ordered the Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron. Building the Chiron was a challenge , but not difficult. Keep in mind, this is not the traditional block design Legos. The Technic sets are mostly beams and pins, with some traditional Lego elements. This makes for a much stronger build and opens up new design options for the engineers. I actually enjoyed it more than the Saturn V build (and I'm a huge NASA nerd!). If you take your time, triple check everything, you'll do fine. I took my time and finished on the 6th day, working on it a few hours a day). When I finished, I was thrilled to see that everything worked. The speed key, the 8 speed sequential transmission, the 16 pistons moving correctly driven by three camshafts, the rear wing, and the steering, I wholeheartedly recommend this to any car fan, Lego fan, or anyone that enjoys a good challenge. It should be noted; I think a 16 year old would have to be exceptional to build this kit alone. Kudos to Lego, you have a new fan!

Hard to assemble, but worth the effort.
This is a very nice LEGO set. It comes in a very cool box, both inside and out, and the instructions may be long, but are not confusing. Even if you do miss a part, or something is in the instructions that you don't see, it's never a case of "too late to put it in now". The build took me a combined total of 26 hours over 2 days, and I'm very happy with the result, it's even got me thinking about making my own similar scale set and putting it on LEGO Ideas. This set will require patience, and there are many pins, so your fingertips will hurt for a bit afterwards. The completed set is around 7lbs and is larger than you might think at 22in long, 12in wide, and 6in tall. When I ordered it I knew it would be big, but not that big. Unfortunately, the front suspension isn't up to the task and has a hard time going back up. I can only assume that this is because of the placement of the shock, with limited height in the front, which is why they mounted the shock to the lower beam of the front instead of the upper beam like in the back. I can't imagine motorizing this set with Power Functions or Powered Up will be easy in the slightest, as all 3599 pieces are very tightly packed together.

It was a bit tricky but possible
I got this Lego for my son’s birthday and he was turning 9. He loved it he and he got so happy the second he saw it. He built it all in less than two days!

Awesome challenge that end with a beautiful supercar.
Wow ok first and foremost if you are someone who doesn't like supercars, complicated lego builds or have kids who don't appreciate cars or big builds then stop reading here, anyone else keep reading. This build was quite difficult and expensive but it is so worth it. Its big, heavy, has a working transmission and suspension and it looks beautiful. It is mostly a display model but u can be a little ruff with it because it sturdy. Its fun to build espically if u like complicated lego technic. Plus there is more than just a lego set. If u want all the info youtube has a lot of videos showing it off.

Fun and difficult to build.
This Lego set was fun to build from the beginning to the end. The instructions are somewhat challenging to read, and I did mess up a few times which caused me to break it apart in certain areas to fix them. Unfortunately for my Lego set, I was given the wrong piece for the decoration of the car. Some of the pieces that I was given didn't seem to be a part of the set, but thankfully I have spare parts that I used to finish. I was not given the two books that were supposed to be included. I was also only given just the instructions. When I opened the box, the setup was a bit unorganized. With that said, I still enjoyed making it and having it as a decoration for my room. I have also purchased a poster board to be hung on the wall; I'm still waiting on that at the moment. If you see the image of the top of the car, one side is missing the blue edge, almost like a wing from an air plane. I was given the same piece that is already on the side of it, and not the opposite piece.
