Is there 2 sets of uppercase letters for matching?

No. There is one set of uppercase letters and one set of lowercase letters. This allows you to match uppercase letters to lowercase letters.

How do you play slap jack?

There are a few variations. The way my kids (3 and 6) play is they take turns playing a card and calling out the letter or letter sound. When a slap jack card is played they slap the pile and collect all the cards.
