KidKraft Everyday Heroes Wooden Playset, 3-Story with 26-Piece Accessories, Foldable for Storage

This will be a Christmas present for my three year old. He has been obsessed with Fireman Sam and all that entails, so I was hoping for a play set that would work with his existing fireman toys from various brands. This arrived on time in packaging that would rival NASA engineering. My goal was to assemble it and hide it before Christmas so my Christmas eve does not involve hours of assembling. If I hadn't been watching TV, I probably could have actually assembled this in under 2 hours, and if there were other helpful hands, I'm sure we could have knocked it out in even less time. I agree with others, find a large space to spread out the massive quantities of boards for easy viewing and getting the pieces. Once you find the pieces they were super simple to assemble. The only thing I did not notice or pay attention to until I assembled one of the towers was that the screws labelled "A" were separated and color coded for the entire project, once I actually noticed it, It was an easy fix and I matched up the color to the exterior picture. I could have left it if I wanted and it would not have taken away from the finished product. The diagram steps were simple and the only time I felt I needed more strength was the tiny little door knobs. Pliers and the screw driver did the trick. The quality is fine for the size and price point of this thing. I scratched a few doors before I got the pliers out for the door knob but even so, I nor my 3 year old are particularly fussy about perfection so I'm not concerned and I think I want something he can play with to his hearts content versus a gift that he can only look at from a far. The accessories are a mix of wood and plastic, and the construction seems to be a mix of wood, prefab boards etc. If you're looking for generations out of it, I doubt it, but I think this will be just fine until his Fireman obsessions changes to dinosaurs or college, whichever comes first. Once it was all assembled, it was adorable and I wanted to mess with all the accessories rather than tuck it away for Christmas. I resisted, but I did check out that his "Fireman Sam' truck could fit through the doors. I think even his F. P. Little people truck will go as well. Overall, I am extremely excited to see his face Christmas morning, and see him play with the new and his old toys all together which was my goal.

This playset looks intimidating at first because there are a lot of pieces, but it turned out to be much easier than expected. The instructions were clear, and it didn’t take very long to put together. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made. Overall, a great quality playset and well worth the time to assemble.

This is a unique and fun structure for our 3 year old grandson. He really enjoys playing with it. Very sturdy and colorful. The directions could have been a little more clear but we got it done in 1 1/2 hours. You need a large area to lay out all the pieces and a lot of patience. Well worth it! Would highly recommend. Comes in a flat box so that tells you how many pieces! They all were numbered though.

First off, the concept of this is wonderful. It's very detailed and I'm sure our boys will love playing with this! It was easy enough to assemble (just be sure you match the screw colors with the piece you are attaching... I didn't at first and had to go back and redo a bunch of screws). It took me about 2 hours to put together while watching a movie and the instructions were very detailed. The furniture is real wood and great quality! Now onto the cons... The quality is pretty terrible. I searched and searched for something that would be made of wood and durable (we have 3 young boys so durable is a MUST). This isn't making the cut. It's not real wood, it's particle board. Some pieces are very thin and flimsy. But more than that, the design appears to just be stickers on the partible board. They scratch off super easily. Many pieces came with scratches on them and throughout the assembly process aquired many more scratches just from bumping around against other pieces. We decided to keep this because we got it on sale and I know our boys won't see scratches, just lots of imaginary fun! And after all my searching, this was the best, most well-thought out design. 3 hero's vehicles makes it perfect for 3 boys! But we are not at all impressed with the quality of the house itself and I don't expect it to be something our grandchildren will play with someday. I am going to look into sealing it with some kind of apoxy or something before we gift it to our boys... Hopefully that will at least help the stickers not scratching off so easily.

Product arrived in a unmarked box - had company name on it and such but no identifying pictures which was great since it was a christmas gift for my 3 year old and was left on the door step to our home. Assembly was easy and directions were very easy to follow. Took me about 30 minutes to work on it and was able to get it together and such by myself. Quality of the house itself is great! Wood parts are sturdy and well made, the color is wonderful and the pictures are all painted on instead of stickers which really makes it stand out. Came with a great amount of play pieces and they are too great quality. My 3 year old is rough and tough these vehicles have crashed from bunk beds and book shelves and have not a chip on them. The bendable figures have been twisted into all sorts of positions and still months later look brand new. House is great size and allows for use of other cars and such children have. Expending what they're able to use with it. The two far sides are on hinges which makes folding it up and storing it great! My son is approaching 4 now and still plays with the set, and this is a favorite toy when we have friends over to play even older kids! Our dog had chewed the helicopter that came with the set and Kids Kraft customer service was amazing and sent us a replacement one free of charge in a short amount of time with zero hassle

My mom bought this for my son's 3rd birthday & BEST GIFT EVER. Unlike other reviews, ours came with everything included, no missing or broken pieces. All the luxuries of his sister's LoL or Barbie houses but with the excitement of Police & Fire houses. Honestly, I doubt I'll be able to keep my daughter out of this either. On to assembly. Like other reviews have mentioned, the instructions could have been much more clear with more pictures. However, all boards are numbered & screws are color coded. The only took you need is a screwdriver. & a lot of patience. The regular, silver A screws are for the bottom of the floors, the grey A screws are for the top of the roofs, the red A screws for the front of the firehouse building, the blue A screws for the front of the police station. There are also a couple of grey B screws that are also for the roof while the silver B screws are for the floor. Then the colored G screws are for the backs/insides of the doors. When inserting the flooring for each building, make sure to have the white siding facing in & the brown siding facing out where the front of the building will cover it. & all rooftops go picture side up (lights, basketball court & helipad). The doorknobs are maybe the most annoying to screw in. Need to be aligned properly or you won't be able to screw them in all the way. All furniture is already assembled. The dogs bed I read some people mention as missing is actually a picture on the floor in one of the buildings. The dog & dog bowl are included. Lastly, I attached some pictures I thought could help give an idea of what the end result should look like. Totally worth all of the effort. Great quality & my son's amazement is priceless.

This house is very well made and although confusing at times, the directions were ok. My grandson will love playing with this and all the added wooden pieces. A few edges were pealed off but nothing that would stop the fun. I highly recommend it!

My 5 year old grandson loves this play set. We gave it to him as a Christmas present. It's a little difficult to put together. Overall great playset. I am planning on getting another one for our house when he comes to visit.

Unsere Jungs (2 + 4) haben sich ein "Puppenhaus" gewünscht -geworden ist es das Spielhaus von KidKraft. Wir hätten keine bessere Entscheidung treffen können, die Jungs lieben das Haus, die Kombi von Feuerwehr und Polizei, die unendlichen Spielmöglichkeiten von normalen "Einsätzen", Erstürmung durch wilde Dinos, die Playmobilfiguren besuchen regelmäßig das Haus - als Parkhaus wurde es auch schon genutzt. Für Fantasie und Kreativität ist es großartig. Und eben richtig was für Jungs (wir machen da eigentlich keine Unterschiede, unser Vierjähriger schon....). Der Aufbau ist zu schaffen, die Anleitung war jedoch für uns doch schon sehr hilfreich :) Das Material ist aus leichtem Pressspan. Die Teile haben prima ineinander gepasst, es ist ein stabiles Haus entstanden, das auch mal von den Kindern bewegt werden kann. Die Einrichtungsgegenstände sind aus Holz und bisher recht stabil. Qualitativ ist es nicht berauschend - wildes Spielen kann schon den ein oder anderen sehr sichtbaren Kratzer in dem aufgebrachten Dekor hinterlassen, auch hat unser Motorrad sein Windschild durch einen Sturz verloren (leider war das auch Pressspan, lässt sich schlecht reparieren). Dennoch würden wir uns wieder für den Kauf entscheiden :)

This arrived flatpacked and I was worried it wouldn't look anything like the photos however it is a wonderful product. It took a bit longer to put together than we thought, but we did take our time to ensure we only had to do it once! Similar to IKEA flatpacked products, it was a little frustrating but essentially great instructions, all the correct screws and bits and pieces were included, and it really does look great. Our grandson was delighted when we gave it to him for his 3rd birthday and played with it most of the day. So glad we purchased this one.

Lo compré como regalo de reyes para mis hijos de 3 y 5 años y fué todo un triunfazo!! Hacía tiempo que lo llevaba viendo y como adoro las casitas de muñecas, aproveché un buen descuento del black friday para comprarlo. Viene presentado en una caja de cartón apta para regalo, completamente desmontada con instrucciones en imágenes bastante intuitivas basadas en números. Al principio cuesta un poco cogerle el rollo, pero cada cara de las planchas vienen numeradas, y los tornillos vienen en un blister para evitar qje se pierdan o falte alguno, así que al final el montaje no cuesta tanto aunque al menos una horita se puede llevar. El resultado al verla montada es espectacular. Es enorme y se puede abrir y cerrar para que no ocupe tanto, aunque tendremos que tener una parte de un mueble o del suelo para poder colocarla. Es una casa de muñecas pero menos femenina que las clásicas, que consta de dos edificios, uno de policía y otro de bomberos, con su barra de emergencia incluída por donde bajar rápidamente para subirse al camión. Incluye un camión de bomberos con su escalera, una moto de policía, dos personajes de policía y bomberos con su perro de rescate a los que pueden colocar en la postura que quieran ya que tienen un alambre interior para mover los brazos y las piernas. También incluye todo el mobiliario: una mesa de comedor con dos sillas, un comedero para el perro, una mesa de escritorio con su silla de oficina, un ordenador, un monitor, un sofá, un sillón, un wc, una bañera, una litera con dos camas y su escalera, un televisor, un mueble de cocina, una cinta para correr, una canasta de baloncesto y un helicóptero. Todo está hecho de madera bien pintada y pulida sin astillas. En la parte superior del edificio de bomberos tiene una campana de emergencia de plástico que no suena, pero que podemos cambiar por una más realista ya que simplemente va colgada de un cordel. En la azotea del edificio de bomberos está el helipuerto para aterrizar con el helicóptero y en la azotea del edificio de la policía (algo más bajo) hay una pista de basket para que jueguen al baloncesto mientras no están rescatando gente. Además en la planta baja hay 4 puertas que se abren o cierran para que los muñecos puedan entrar y salir, las de los garajes son dobles. En general creo que tiene muy buena relación calidad precio, sobre todo con la oferta. Lo compré hace dos años y aún está perfecto, aunque se ha roto la parte del cristal de la moto, y ahora juega muchísimo con él mi hija pequeña de 2 años. El paquete llegó en el tiempo estimado sin incidencias. Espero haberte servido de ayuda!!

Arrived with one of the "walls" broken. The whole package looked like someone already returned cause almost non of the parts where in the foamsheets. Wrote to Amazon and they fixed a new one right away and all I needed to do was send the old one back, which was a bit complicated to pack. They cannot send individual parts which would have been better, instead of having to dismantle all that was already build. This broken wall was one of the last parts. Paint job is pealing off easily, also easily dented. The furnitures and vehicles were good but the "dolls" and dog was meh... If you want to buy this, inspect all the parts first before starting on assembling, otherwise you might end up like me having to do the assembling twice. Also watch out for the doorknobs, they are not made for this doll house correctly 😑 if not for fast return service I would have given lower rating
