Works really well, looks great, good quality material.
I've purchased two different trench lighters, this one arrived first, and it was the one I thought I would like least. But, actually, I have a feeling I'm going to like this the most ! It's heavy, feels great in the hand, lights perfectly and looks really neat. I really like the three flame openings. If you like to smoke the good stuff (void where prohibited) this device has a neat feature, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. Light it, place one hole downwards on the "bowl" and inhale gently, it will pull the flame from the top hole to the bottom, thus igniting your ground up goodies. Everyone will want one.

Good product, good value for money
For the price, substantial with premium feel. Mechanically, works just like a Zippo pipe lighter, takes Zippo flints and fuel as well. One advantage over the Zippo is that the tank screws in shut, so the fuel evaporates less. Compact but heavier than a Zippo. Another advantage, unlike the Zippo, the flint chamber can accommodate multiple flints. A couple of disadvantages compared to the Zippo: 1. awkward to handle single-handedly, you can easily burn yourself; 2. flawed flint chamber, when the plunger is removed--necessary to replace flint--the locking screw falls out; 3. despite strength of flame, not as protective as Zippo under windy conditions; 4. costs about twice as much as comparable Zippo. Nevertheless, an outstanding pipe lighter for the price; my current go-to when smoking my (yes, tobacco) pipe.

Solid, a little too solid.
Excellent lighter, I'm very happy with it. Pros: it's very solid and well built. It has an easy to use fuel reservoir that conserves fuel. The window flame design allows you to use with a pipe. Cons: it's heavy, very heavy for a lighter. Solid, billeted brass. And the flint passage design it a little odd and cumbersome to use, but luckily you won't have to use it often since flints usually last a while. All-in-all, I'd recommend it. I am happy with it, it's a great lighter. Maybe not an everyday carry lighter, but a good novelty to say the least. Note: it comes with a flint already in it, so no need to take out the flint spring to add one.

Real SOLID Brass - GREAT Pipe Lighter!
Getting hard to find nice pipe lighters anymore...everyone wants those blow torch lighters (which will RAPIDLY DESTROY a Briar Wood Tobacco Pipe!), you want a 'cool' naptha lighter...so 'old-school Zippo' or similar. Problem is, Zippo has almost abandoned Tobacco Pipe Lighter inserts! You can't buy them individually online, and they only offer a few of them in cases anymore. So, Zippo abandoned their customer base, I went looking elsewhere...and found this SOLID BRASS lighter! The mechanics are VERY WELL MADE, as good as ANYTHING anyone has ever come up with previously. Precision machining, well thought out, very nice visual presentation, works on lighter fluid (naptha) or kerosene and of course, the old 'Zippo-style' flints...just doesn't get much simpler than that. Provides a large flame in a conventional 'draw down' hole for actually lighting a pipe! I just can't say enough about this lighter...and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone who smokes a pipe to consider buying this brass work-of-art!

Neat lighter, Odd design.
The lighter came with a 3 inch wick right out of the package already inside the chimney. The only issue I have is the lighter holes do make lighting things a little difficult as the flame is a little random depending on the level of fluid in the tank, as well as the wick being the most difficult I've ever tried threading through to replace. The top does come off but the instructions show it needing to be threaded through the bottom which again, very difficult. I'd go with their forever match instead.

Patina Patina Patina
I use this soley to light my tobacco pipe. It would probably be difficult to use for much else considering it's design. Pros: heavy, sturdy and reliable. Some people like light tools, I love copper and brass so the weight doesn't matter to me, you'll get used to it and plus the copper will age beautifully especially with the consistant heat. Cons: requires a lot of attention. It's become a habbit to refill it everytime I pull it out because it seems to let the fuel evaporate pretty easily. But with a light that looks so cool and is so efficient I could care less 10/10 would buy recommend and buy another

Redesign made it worse.
I've bought these in the past and have been great. This latest order however, it appears the knurled top cap that must be pulled to expose the wick has been changed somehow. There is less grip to hold on to it, and it does not stick out like before to help grip it. On top of that, it is extremely tight in comparison to previous generation. It makes the cap extremely hard to pull up (so much that it hurts my fingers). What a shame! They ruined it.

Definitely not pire copper. Nice build quality though.
"Pure Copper Creative Brass Cigarette Lighter"? If it's brass, then it's not pure copper. Copper has a red tint to it. The lighter is clearly yellow like brass. It's definitely more awkward to use than zippo. It is also not windproof like a zippo. There's no windguard for this thing so a breeze was enough to take the flame out. However, it's still not a bad product. Build quality is nice for the money. The weight feels nice in my hand. They took away the protruding screw that holds the flint in with a stainless steel screw that sits inside the hole without sticking out (looks better for sure). It's unique design and feel makes it a fun paper weight to play with than as a practical edc. I have no regrets buying this product for the price I paid for.
