Versatile and useful item for mending and crafting supplies
This is a handy item to keep in my sewing box with my patches and other mending supplies. The latest project we used this for was re-sticking a graphic to the front of an event t-shirt. It's nice for oddly-shaped or very small patches. It's also good for sticking two thin pieces of just about anything heat resistant together. I haven't noticed any issues with color change, but I'm careful not to use too much. It can be a bit messy. I have some teflon ironing sheets that I use to protect surfaces. Parchment paper will also work. I like that this container is small, because I only use this product every once in a while for a special fix. I have used it to mend a wool sweater. There are YouTube videos on this method. I think it's great thing to have in your sewing, mending, or crafting tool kit. Especially since it comes in a small size, it's a good value.

Pretty easy to use, will get better with practice.
I finally used this on my wool sweater that had a hole in the shoulder. It was my first attempt, so it isn't perfect, but I can wear it again!! I probably should have put a few stitches in it first. So excited and pleased with the results! I will definitely use this instead of disposing of my favorite items! It was fairly simple, and did show a little of the melting, but I should have brushed the excess Bo-Nash powder off before bonding. Instructions are in the box for all different kinds of material and specific items. So glad that I came across someone using it on Youtube! Great value.

Alternative to using spray adhessive
I ordered this product to use on a quilt I needed to baste together. I did not want to use spray adhesive because of how messy it gets. This product is very easy to use and will stick permanently when ironed so be very careful where you sprinkle it. When I prepared all three QUILTS layers, I pulled back the top layer of my quilt and lightly sprinkled this on the batting then folded over the top quilt piece and ironed carefully. It’s stuck very well and I suggest basting your project in sections at a time. Do not sprinkle on what you do not want to glue down. Vacuum up whatever falls on the floor or your ironing board. This product sticks only when you iron it between 2 pieces of fabric. This is a permanent glue that will not wash out of your quilt. Safe for baby QUILTS too. This was confirmed by a customer service representative. I would recommend getting the larger shaker container. This product looks like salt, so it’s very difficult to see where you’re sprinkling it on especially if the fabric is light colored. I wish it was colored so you can see where you sprinkle it. This is a better alternative to spray adhesive. Sadly its not budget friendly, but overall I would recommend this product.

leaves wrinkles when fabric cools
I purchased this for quilting but found that after fusing the cotton fabric to the cotton batting the cotton fabric would wrinkle badly when cooled. No amount of pressing would flatten the wrinkles. I was able to separate the layers and lay flat and press again with fewer wrinkles. I won't use this product again due to the wrinkle issue and the cost for the small amt of powder you actually get.

Doesn't blend well with knits.
It doesn't work well on knitted fabrics, but regular fusing tape works better. It flakes and doesn't stick well. I will try on different fabrics and see if I get better results, then I can come back and give another review.
