Among The Best Orthotics
I have quite a collection of orthotic insoles due to the need for more arch support, metatarsal support, and plantar fasciitis where the standard insoles any shoe comes with is very inadequate. I love the Pedag Viva Sport but I also like Pedag Viva leather, Pedag Viva Winter, the PowerStep Protech Control Pro, and the New Balance Motion Control. The Powerstep is the best choice for people that need a rigid arch but has limited cushioning. The New Balance is by far the best for added cushioning and shock control but is too thick for many shoes but are in all my sneakers. The Pedag Viva leather is super thin so can fit in shoes where others wont work but still provides quality semi rigid support. The Pedag Viva winter is ideal for insulated boots, skates, ski boots, winter cycling, or to add warmth to any shoe as it is also very thin but little cushioning. The Pedag Viva Sport is really in the middle of these features where it is fairly thin, provides decent cushioning, and adequate arch and metatarsal support. They also are very comfortable where you don't notice them over the OEM insoles other than the additional support.. Note that these work for many more situations than just sports as they are superb for casual wear and even dress shoes if they fit in. I also like Superfeet for edge control in ski boots but their metatarsal support does not work for me for long term use and they have almost no cushioning to aid walking or hiking. Also, for bicycling, the Specialized insoles are also excellent and can be used for other applications plus you can get them in 3 levels of arch support. Oh, and the Viva insoles cost much less than other quality insoles so are extreme values and tghey wear well too. Being winter presently, I mostly use my Goretex sneakers and boots right now with the Viva WInter insoles in them. My feet never get cold and I don't over sweat either.

Very Comfortable & Washable
I bought these to fit in my travel shoes. I like them so much, I have another pair to wear in my running shoes. My current travel shoes are Merrell "Dassie Buckle" - Black. The insoles in those shoes are not very good & would not provide enough arch, cushion & heel support for long days (I average 13 miles per day when I am travelling). I have a small bunion on one foot so I like the extra width in this shoe. I ordered the size 8M (38.5 EU) shoe & the 38 in this Pedag. The 38 Pedag insole was too small but it fits perfectly in my running shoe. I ordered the 39 Pedag & it fits in this Merrell. This was the perfect combination shoe for all day sightseeing. These insoles have plenty of arch support & cushion. I need extra cushion in my forefoot & these work really well. They keep my foot at the proper alignment in my shoe so my legs & feet feel good all day! And they are washable. I just throw them in the wash & hang dry. Pull the insole out of your shoe at the end of the day so they can dry out. Feet sweat more than you think. Merrell Women's Dassie Buckle Slip-On Shoe,Black,10 M US I ordered Size 8M.

Best investment for bike riding!
I just got a brand new pair of Adidas Five Ten Freerider riding shoes and they hurt my feet SO bad! I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in, but now I have over 100 miles of riding and they STILL hurt my feet when I was done. Great for the ride, horrible afterwards. ANYWAY, just got these, slipped them in, and after a 15 mile ride, I'm able to get off the bike and WALK! Not just walk, but walk with no pain! Absolute godsend for my feet! Riding shoes are important, making sure they are well supported, even MORE important!

NOT 18s!
I was STOKED to see these listed as available in a size 18. They ARE NOT. I'm not sure they're even 16s. This is not Amazon's fault -- the packaging makes the claim, too. Now, if you're also unfortunate enough to be wildly outside the normal range of sizes, you'll know that a 17 is NOT a 17 is NOT a 17. But these are _woefully_ too small. To standardize for you bigger-footed folks: I *love* Keen 17s. These size "18" insoles are much too small for a size 17 Keens. I got 18s because nothing out at the end of the spectrum is ever reliable, and I figured they'd either be close enough, or could be cut down if I got lucky and they were actually too big. Nope. Otherwise, they're nice. Supportive, seemingly pretty rugged and well made. Maybe people with normal-sized feet will find them worth every penny. Unfortunately, they are fraudulently labelled for the outer bounds of the size. Your mileage / sizing may/will vary.

Pedags can't be beat.
I love this brand. I have bought a ton of different orthotic insoles over the years from virtually every major brand, but I always end up going back to Pedag. The only reason I ever have to replace them is because I have a habit of losing them. (They're probably all in my closet some where). Lately I've been buying Walk-Pro because they're cheaper and work well, for awhile anyway. But eventually they lose their support. But it seems like Pedag products keep their shape far longer. I also really like how thin they are in the toes. I am wearing these full size "sport" insoles in my cross-trainers. I wear 3/4 Pedag Viva Minis in my dress and casual shoes. (I highly recommend the 3/4 minis.) Obviously the Pedags are more expensive, but from now on I think they're all I'm going to buy in the future. I'll just have to try harder not to lose them.

Serious feet problems, see a doctor
Not rigid at all, but in all fairness I needed to get custom made orthotics with toe extensions. They did not work for me but that’s not to say they are bad in anyway.

Best insoles I've had for running with plantar fasciitis
Very effective and comfortable. Took a few runs to get used to the support in the insole, particularly the metatarsal pad, but once run-in, they feel absolutely great. Loads of support along the heel and cushioning with no PF pain at all. Will buy again.
