Great rain and snow boots for winter weather.
My wife loves these boots! The fit perfectly right out of the box. They're nice and warm and have great grip on wet and snowy surfaces. She wears them in wet weather and on snowy days. Highly recommended.

Super comfortable
These boots are very comfortable and attractive. They are warm and easy to put on. I had gotten rid of my old boots because my feet hurt when I wore them but these boots preformed well on a 4 hour shopping trip. They are just tall enough to be perfect to wear shopping. They would probably not be good for hiking or walking in snow. The 9.5 size fit me perfectly while the 10s were sloppy in the heal. I wear a size 10 tennis shoe and normally get size 10 in boots as I need the extra toe room.

Comfy, warm, cute, but so-so traction
Can never go wrong with Merrell. Super sturdy and warm. Fit true to size. Nice toe box and arch support. No breaking in period. But beware. Not a great traction type sole. In fact, Iโve slipped on a pile of leaves going downhill. Def do not wear in snow or ice. A wet surface just okay

Slippery soles
They are warm and meant for snow according to the description. I had a prior version from years ago I loved. The Encore 5 cannot be worn safely in rain and snow. First day I wore them in rain I kept slipping. I live in Oregon. The Encore Ice 3 was great in rain and snow. These arenโt safe for wintry weather.

Merrell Boots for Everyone!
If you know the brand you know how well-made and durable and COMFORTABLE their boots wil be. Just wore them all winter, still happy even after 2 blizzards.....

Glad to buy the boots
The boots are stylish and good quality. They are sturdy but not heavy. True to size. I tested their waterproof quality by putting them under running tab water for a while and still dry inside. Glad to find these boots. Can't wait to try them outdoors.
