It's not great, but it's not bad either. the build is solid. it's lightweight. and doesn't take long to have a decent charge just to get going out of the box. Yet, in terms of 'quality of life' little things: * the on-off switch. I suppose from the design engineers viewpoint, placement and accessibility seem great. from a users viewpoint, it lacks both ease-of-use (it's a bit stiff, even for the on switch), and it the placement is a lot closer to the dpi toggle. * regardless of how I tried, could never use the mouse while it's charging. Previous wireless gaming mouse allowed it. Maybe in a future firmware update. Reminds me of that cartoon for a baby mobile showing the usual stark difference of UI vs UX. Seems like a great mouse. could have been a 3, but it 'feels' better than last mouse. Outside of that, I'll have to update in a few months. 06.07.26 - the on-off button was definitely an engineer-who-didn't-live-with-it "feature". Button on any other mouse is a lot easier to access and use. Still hoping that there's a firmware update that allows for using the mouse while charging. On the plus side, there seems to be more updates for the software and firmware than there ever was for the Hitscan. Plus, the software is less intrusive and lighter than the Razor app. Still working well, and nothing deal breaking. just annoying that hopes to be fixed in the next hardware version.

Best mouse I have ever used. The quality is next level. I love how they focused on making a quality product instead of giving it a flashy look. This mouse is subtle, but once you have it in your hand you will know it's premium. Someone else said they were afraid it was gonna break so I tested it out, and even at the bottom where it's not completely closed has 0 give. If you push it full force maybe something might move but with a lot of pressure it didn't budge. The sides and everywhere else have zero give or "creaking" like they said.

Best mouse I have, prior to this I had a hyper x mouse and this takes the cake. Gaming friendly and works well in my hand. While you can adjust the dpi with the software, I wouldn't recommend the software in the current state. However for what it is at the price it is great 9.5/10

This mouse comes with a nice braided flex cord, basic instructions, spare slide pads, and the wireless dongle. The dongle is a USB-A, but the cord is a USB-C to USB-A. Interesting choice but they do give you an adapter for a female USB-C to Female USB-A. The charge port on the mouse is USB-C. The most noticeable thing about this is how light it is and the next is how quiet it is. Response is second to none and the small throw on the quiet buttons is very good. I didn't fully test the battery life, but it is rated at constant polling at 1,000 hz for 110 hours. That is better than most mice of this type. It does use a dark field laser which allows you to use it on a glass table, where many gaming mice do not do that. The bottom button allows you to change the DPI on the fly at 5 levels. The fastest level is almost unusable it is so fast, but some gamers may really like that. The mouse has a good feel to it and I feel that I have ultimate control of where it is pointing. The instructions are unfortunately a bit too basic. It doesn't explain how the polling rate can change from 1000 hz to 8000 hz. It doesn't recommend software for it, but I'm sure that isn't hard to find online. The buttons are programmable but it is not apparent if the programmable buttons save to the mouse itself or if you need to be running the software (it most likely saves to the mouse itself but I didn't test this). As a personal preference I like a couple more buttons on the mouse for gaming. One gaming mouse I have has a toggle up and down above the two side buttons which makes it very nice for a quick jump, squat, or melee. I would have liked to see that. There is no doubt that this is a serious gaming mouse but does not look flashy. The technology in this being wireless is without a doubt top notch. The price is pretty standard for something of this caliber but it isn't really an everyday mouse that prioritizes battery life and efficiency, but it will work plugged in or wirelessly with the dongle. This does not work with Bluetooth unless I missed something, but I also have not notice it disconnect with the wireless dongle. This is a good value if you need a high quality gaming mouse and can get by with the standard 5 button layout.

This is a pricey mouse that is a little eccentric in personality. Firstly there is no LED indication that it is on and/or charged - yes there is a switch underneath that shows orange when the mouse is on, but nothing to tell you that the battery is flat. The cord and the cord/USB arrangement are also different - the bright orange cord is braided, resulting, occasionally, in a bit of drag (which is certainly odd in a gaming mouse), despite the cleverly angled USB connector. The USB dongle for wireless operation, when not in use, is not stored within the mouse as is traditional, but at the end of an adapter connected to the cord. If you want to use the cord to charge the mouse (which you can do while the USB dongle is active, fortunately), you need to remove the adapter. What I don't like about the cord arrangement is that it is easy for the dongle and the mouse to become irreparably separated at chaotic times in life, and of course that adapter, certainly will become adrift in everyday use and it will probably be unlocatable and possibly unidentifiable within 6 months. The adapter can be used to convert between female USB C and USB A connectors. So far I am not convinced that this mouse holds the charge for very long - a day, maybe? Or has it just gone into super-sleep mode?? Part of this confusion is that there is NO indicator that the mouse is alive. Consequently, it now stays permanently connected to its bright orange tether. The buttons on the side are labelled as forward and backward respectively, but in fact arrive with no function and need to be programmed via IO Center - this is available as a downloadable and a web (Chromium-based browser only) app - simply search for "IO Center be quiet" to go to the bequiet website. So what's good about this German-engineered, light-as-a-feather mouse? It does indeed respond smoothly, quickly, accurately, quietly. All the buttons are programmable. It provides a comprehensive range of DPI choices. It is very comfortable to hold and maneuver over long periods of time, so it definitely ticks all the boxes that really matter, with the exception of charged and switched-on LEDs. Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because it is not a plug and play device and the instructions are lacking. I ended up going to COPILOT to help me understand that software needs to be installed to make this work and once the software is installed you need to do a firmware update to sync the dongle and the mouse. Maybe this is something common with mice intended for gaming but I'm not a gamer so it was not clear to me. The instruction manual is very vague and I could not find anything in it that told me in English that software needs to be installed. There is a QR code in the manual but it only shows off the features not the how to. Ok, so all that said, how does it work? It works fine. It is nice that is has DPI speed settings. For me, this mouse is likeable but not lovable. I switched a long time ago to an upright mouse to ease stress on my hand and wrist and got this one because it is small and light to travel with. The price point of about $110 on this mouse makes it not seem like much of a bargain since my wireless upright mouse required no software to install, and has adjustable DPI. I do like the rechargeable nature of this mouse and I do hate it when the other mice I have fall on the floor and the batteries go flying. If you are a serious gamer you may appreciate the features of this mouse and the programmable nature of it but for me I can take it or leave it. I do like that the dongle, the adapter and the cord all plug together to keep track of the dongle

The be quiet! dark perk sym is a good mouse, the clicks are a lot quiter than most mouses which is why I purchased it. It features 2 side buttons which can be changed to a custom macro in their software, must better software than Logitech's G Hub. Battery life is great I haven't had to charge it in a few days. I can't speak for the ergonomic version but the sym one feels great to use. It feels durable and well made, and connecting it is simple, the only fault is the charging cable angles downwards leaving it difficult to use the mouse while it's charging. I don't know why they went for this design but it is what it is.

Die Maus ist wirklich super. Musste mich zwar erstmal bisschen an das leichte Gewicht gewöhnen da ich vorher eher größere Gaming Mäuse benutzt habe. Aber ich finde man kann sich schnell daran gewöhnen und diese Maus ist auch super im Bereich Gaming. Kann sie nur weiter empfehlen!

Kurzfazit : Die Dark Perk Sym ist eine echte High‑End Wireless Maus, die technisch alles bietet, was man Anfang 2026 erwarten kann: Top‑Sensor, 8 kHz Wireless, geringes Gewicht, starke Klicks und sehr gute Akkulaufzeit. Für 99,90 € liefert sie High‑End‑Specs zum Mittelklasse‑Preis – und das merkt man im Alltag sofort. Wenn da in diesem Falle nicht ein Verarbeitungsfehler wäre - da mag man sich nun streiten. Deswegen münzt das Review im Zweifel für euch passend um. Für mich ist es maximal störend, die untere Seitentaste steht raus, sie „piekst“ und ist scharfkantig/eckig. Da ich meinen Daumen oftmals dort ruhen lasse bzw die Tasten nutze - ist das nicht mein Fall. (Siehe Foto) Die Maus geht daher erst mal zurück. Ansonsten definitiv 4/5 Sternen, mit den Kleinigkeiten kann BeQuiet! durchaus 5/5 Sterne erreichen. Ausführliches Review : Verpackung & Unboxing Die Verpackung wirkt hochwertig und sauber strukturiert – nicht ganz so luxuriös wie bei Logitech oder Razer, aber locker 90 % davon. Besonders positiv fällt das orange, gesleevte USB‑C‑Kabel auf: flexibel, hochwertig und mit gewinkeltem Stecker, perfekt für kabelgebundenes Spielen. Dazu gibt es Ersatz‑Skates, was selbst bei teureren Mäusen nicht selbstverständlich ist. Der Dongle ist ebenfalls sehr gut verarbeitet und erinnert qualitativ an den der Superlight 2. Insgesamt ein starkes Unboxing‑Erlebnis, nur ohne übertriebenes Premium‑Marketing. Ich hoffe, dass künftig Glides und Griptape separat angeboten werden. Stand heute 23.03.26 sehe ich keine Rubrik bei BeQuiet auf der Homepage für Ersatzteile und Co ! Haptik und Form Erst dachte ich „öh, okay“, weil die Form doch anders ist als bei meiner Logitech Superlight 2 und Razer Viper V3 Pro. Nach kurzer Eingewöhnung sitzt sie bei meinem Palm Grip (18 × 9.5 cm) sehr gut. Klicks sind deutlich leiser und sehr angenehm, das Scrollrad ist sauber und präzise. Die Seitentasten sind fest und nicht schwammig — ein großer Pluspunkt gegenüber Logitech. (Siehe Video Vergleich). Ein unangenehmer Klick wie ich hier teilweise gelesen habe, wäre mir nicht aufgefallen. Glide und Feet Die mitgelieferten Glides sind besser als bei Logitech, minimal unter Razer. Auf meinem Roccat Sense Pro gleitet sie sehr gut; am Anfang muss sich das Pad/Maus‑Setup noch etwas einlaufen, aber das Ergebnis ist überzeugend. Software und Akku Die be quiet! Software ist schlicht und intuitiv — gefällt mir. Negativ: Die Akkuanzeige ist nur ein Symbol mit Balken, keine Prozentanzeige oder Schnellansicht wie bei Razer/Logitech — das sollte nachgebessert werden. Offizielle Angabe: ~110 Stunden bei 1000 Hz; das wäre besser als Superlight 2 und Viper V3 Pro, Langzeiterfahrung fehlt mir noch. Performance im „Spiel“ In Aimlabs hat sich meine Accuracy sofort verbessert (von ~90.3 % auf ~93.5 %), Punkte sind deutlich gestiegen. Die Maus fühlt sich präzise an und macht Spaß — ungewohnt, aber sehr effektiv. Battlefield 6 und Hunt Showdown brauchen noch Eingewöhnungszeit - die ersten Matches waren aber sehr gut. Preis Leistung Für 99,90 € finde ich die Maus fair - ich würde sie knapp 10 € günstiger sehen, aber insgesamt ist das Preis‑Leistungs‑Verhältnis sehr gut. Wenn die Akkulaufzeit in der Praxis hält, was versprochen wird, kann sie für mich sogar Platz 1 werden. 5 Sterne weil.... Ich seit jahren eine leise Maus gesucht habe und diese wirklich soft und Leise klickt.!! MEGA! Zudem fühlt sich das Material sehr Wertig und auch irgendwie Soft an. Kein gefühltes Hartplastik eher Weich und Griffig, nicht Glatt. Auch ist sie nicht Schwer, sondern auf der Leichten seite. Sie Gleitet ebenfalls sehr gut. Nur ein Manko ist für mich, die DPI Taste, die sich unter der Maus befindet. Das würde ich mir oben auf der Maus Wünschen. Trotzdem 5 Punkte, da ich so lange nach ihr gesucht habe :D
