I love this product!
My sewer main was completely clogged with roots. I spent $200 for a plumber to come out (twice). The plumber was not able to clear the line. I was told that I needed to replace that section of the main. Since i didnt have the money to have that done, i bought this product as a last ditch effort. I did run my pipe auger through the pipe until i managed to punch a hole through the problem area first. Then i used this product through the toilet. I am amazed at the results!! It has been 3 months. Not a single issue with the main!! I am going to put another bottle down the toilet again soon just to keep up the results! So happy!

Is there supposed to be paper inside? YES!
I've been buying this product for a couple of years and this is the first time I've found paper inside. It's like gauze or toilet paper--see photo. I opened another bottle and it, too, had paper. Did I just not notice this before? I'm putting the product directly in the portal that goes to the leach field (not the toilet per my septic guy's instructions) so I don't think I want paper in the leach field. UPDATE: I found a video online that confirms that the paper is supposed to be there--it separates the two chemicals in the bottle. I still don't think it should go directly into the leach field, so I'm removing it.

Did not work **Updated**
Did not work. Poured 2 bottles down the drain, let it sit for 12 hours. Wasn't expecting miracles, but if anything my drain is worse now than before. Time to hire a plumber. Edited: Well after 3 weeks it appears my drainage problem is mostly solved. I have read several reviews that say that it could take up to 2 weeks to notice results using this. It appears to be the case in this situation as well. I'm only giving it three stars because I have also used two gallons of chemical drain cleaner as well. I definitely will use this twice a year as maintenance though. Toilet went from needing to be plunged after every use to complete flush every time.

works well does exactly what its supposed too
does the job exactly as it says i like to use it every 4-6 months. Be sure and follow the instructions exactly or it wont be effective.. I used to have a plumber come to my home and drill the roots out of my drains once or twice a year because water backed up all over my basement becasue pipes were blocked by roots costing me hundreds of dollars. Ive used this for 3 years now and never had a problem.

It worked
Plumber of course didn't want to use it but I put it in my drain some months later I paid to have Plumber run camera down the drain pipe to see if the roots were gone and to my surprise yes they were I will continue to use this product

No plumber needed with Roebic FRK every 6 months!!!
Love it. I used to have a plumber every 3 months to clear the drain. When the washing machine was on, flooding occurred in both toilets and overflowing in the bathtub. After reading the reviews and calling customer service (excellent service) I purchased it. I have been using this for about 2 years, every 6 months. No need for a plumber anymore. Best to pour this in your toilet when you are at work. You need to wait 6 to 8 hours for it to take an effect.
