Large size, rolls well
We have a lot of smaller duffle bags, but none have wheels which means they can be a chore carrying through airports (especially if there's a long distance between connecting flight gates). I got this because it's larger and has wheels. It's very well constructed, you can tell the materials are quality and it's well stitched. The wheels roll well and the handle is easy to pop out and grab. It has a ton of compartments, which will make organizing our clothing and shoes easy. The only downside is it's a bit heavy, even when it's empty. I guess that's to be expected due to the wheels. I do think it's a little on the expensive side, but I suppose it's worth paying more for a brand name that you can trust vs a lower quality item that could fall apart at the seams (which would be terrible during a trip). I expect we'll get a lot of use from this bag on longer trips.

I can't even begin to describe how big this thing is.
This review is for the "Reebok Mens Viper 2.0 7” Short, Standard Fit, Lightweight Poly Grid Mesh Fabric." Holy cow, this thing is H U G E !!!!!! Wow, I could fit my 7yo in this thing. On the plus side, it is very well constructed with fantastic durable materials, great zippers, heavy duty straps, and excellent finishing. It is MOLLE compatible, and it has. a huge velcro area for patches if you're into that sort of thing (I'm not). I could take or leave the MOLLE and velcro... kind of more tactical than I really need. When laid the flat, the bottom forms a kind of solid "tray", and you can either use the main compartment as a mega compartment, or you could split it up with some clever zipper separators. As for use case, this is for major road-trip expeditions. If you plan to fly with this thing, prepare to pay for oversized luggage. If you fill it completely, it is SO HEAVY. They have some side straps to compress the bag when not full, but these are awkwardly designed. Sure, you can compress the sides, but it creates this weird misshapen mass that is hard to pick up, as the compression changes the angle of the bottom handle. All in all, I give it 4 stars. It's not a perfect duffle... It's pretty awesome, but I don't think the compression part is well thought out. Think hard if you need a bag this big. Think hard if you can actually carry this thing when full. If this is you, then this could be your bag. At writing, it is $164, which is actually pretty reasonable for a such a large duffle. If you're only using it 1-2x / year, it's probably not worth getting one of the premium high-end bags. This should do the trick, especially if you don't care about compressing it down.

Awesome multipurpose layout, spacious and functional
This duffel has a really functional layout that fit my use case just about perfectly. If I fly somewhere, I usually travel with some type of carry on bag, whether it’s a backpack or suitcase, but it’s not really feasible to pack my camera gear (camera, lenses, lights) in a carry on. This looked like an intriguing choice for a checked bag that would allow me to transport everything and be able to use the bag on site. The top, or front, compartment is pretty deep which lets me pack my camera cube and two 120W lights in their storage cases along with batteries, cables and other camera kit. I use the drop bottom compartment for clothes packed in packing cubes, toiletries and other personal items. Perhaps not the intended purpose for the bag, but the layout is almost perfectly set up for it and I love the convenience, as I can just jettison the clothes at the hotel and roll the bag to a shoot. It’s a pretty spacious bag, that if used strictly for clothes, would last me well over a week. I also like the sort of tactical look the bag has with the exterior webbing and find the overall style to be appealing. From a functional standpoint, there’s a grab handle at the top, front, bottom and rear along with the telescoping handle, which is made from aluminum and feels sturdy. The wheels also roll well, and while not the best I’ve used, are reasonably smooth and make transport much easier than a carry on backpack. There’s a nice assortment of small zippered compartments on the exterior as well, which I use for portable batteries, cables and the like, whatever I need quick access to. The interior has nice tie down straps and a mesh pocket I use for socks and underwear. Materials and build quality aren’t anything of note, but it does feel durable and it’s neatly put together. I like how easy the zippers are to operate, never binding up around corners, and they have cords attached for easier use. My only real complaint would be that the zippers aren’t lockable, which is a bit of a miss for a checked bag. Outside of that though, it’s really been an excellent bag; it’s very functional, spacious, doesn’t look like a typical suitcase and I was surprised at how well it worked out for my use case.
