I wanted to love this window cleaner, but it’s important to note that it simply does not work on double-pane glass. The magnetic strength isn't sufficient for the thickness of double-glazed windows, so the two parts won't stay connected. If you have double-pane windows in your home, this product is not for you. It’s a well-built tool, but unfortunately, it lacks the necessary magnet power for this specific use case.

The adjustable magnetic dial is essential because my house has thick double-pane glass, and I could easily dial up the strength until the outside piece locked securely onto the inside one. The safety rope gives me real peace of mind when I toss the outer half out the window, and the anti-pinch design actually works to protect my fingers when I'm pulling the two strong magnets apart. It glides smoothly without dropping off, leaving the exterior glass clear of dust and rain spots without me having to lean precariously out of the frame.

I am really impressed with this magnetic window cleaner! The quality is much better than I expected. It feels sturdy, the magnets are strong, and it works very well on my windows. The adjustable design is helpful and makes it suitable for different glass thicknesses. I especially like the safety rope feature. It gives extra peace of mind when cleaning higher windows. The anti-pinch design also makes it safer and easier to use. After a few tries, cleaning became quick and efficient, and both sides of the glass looked very clean and shiny.

I have slider windows and it will not wrk on them

The attractive power of this magnetic window cleaner surprised me, and I can genuinely see where it fills a useful niche. I tested it on 3/8" (1 cm) shower glass and it remained fully secured throughout use. I simply attached it, adjusted the strength dial, sprayed window cleaner on both sides of the glass, and moved it up and down. It did a good job cleaning the door glass. It includes a small squeegee on the bottom that helps remove water or cleaning solution as you go. It comes with a total of 6 sets of replacement cleaning pads (1 set is attached). It also has a black plastic separator to make it easier to separate the sides. The ideal application is for situations where you have only partial access to a window but cannot safely reach farther up or outward. For those scenarios, I can see this being a valuable tool. I also tested it on a small section of double-paned window glass and had no issues keeping it attached while cleaning an area bordered by mullions. One important detail that isn't immediately obvious is that the magnetic strength is adjustable with the dial. At the highest setting, the magnetic attraction is extremely strong. In fact, I had significant difficulty separating the two halves when they were attached directly to each other without glass in between. It's much easier to separate them while they are mounted on the glass, which provides some spacing between the magnetic halves. The only drawback of the dial is you cannot dial back the magnetic attraction once engaged. The two pieces need to be separated and the side with the dial needs to be held dial-downward for the internal magnet to fall to the initial setting. You'll definitely know when you've reached the highest setting. As you rotate the dial to maximum attraction, the two halves rapidly pull toward one another with a surprisingly loud snap as the internal magnet approximates closer. It's effective, but a bit startling the first time it happens. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the product's usefulness depends heavily on matching the magnetic strength to your specific glass thickness. It worked well in my testing, but I would strongly recommend measuring your glass before purchasing. Also keep in mind that windows with mullions will limit how much uninterrupted cleaning area you can access. If you have hard-to-reach windows and your glass falls within the supported thickness range, this is a practical and potentially safer alternative to ladders or leaning out of windows.

This window cleaner comes with five sets of replacement sponges, which is very convenient. I usually use two sets together—one damp for cleaning and another dry for a final wipe. The unit itself is a bit heavy, but it still glides smoothly and is easy to push and pull. Overall, it works well for regular window cleaning.
