I recently had the chance to try out the C1 Mini Laser Engraver with the SCULPFUN RA Mini Rotary Roller, and here’s my take on it. First off, the engraving precision is impressive. I tried it on wood and leather, and the results are clean and detailed, especially for photo engravings. If you’re looking to etch intricate designs, this machine handles it quite well. One of the standout features for me is its portability. It’s light enough to carry around easily, which is fantastic for someone like me who enjoys crafting on the go. It’s also fully pre-assembled, so you can jump right into engraving without the hassle of complicated setups. However, I did find the setup instructions a bit confusing. It took a while to get the hang of things, and I had a few frustrating moments trying to figure everything out. But, once I got the basics down, things started flowing better. Safety features like the limit switches and magnetic protective cover add peace of mind as I was using it. The engraving area is generous for such a compact machine, allowing me to work on multiple small items at once, which is a real plus. On the downside, the software compatibility requires some additional purchases, which isn’t ideal. The engraving quality is decent but not outstanding; it met my expectations but didn’t blow me away. In summary, the C1 Mini Laser Engraver is a solid choice for anyone looking for a compact, portable machine. Just be prepared to spend a bit of time learning the ropes and navigating the software. Overall, it’s a great tool for hobbyists and crafters who appreciate high precision in a small package.

The rotary attachment makes a big difference for round objects, is easy to use and keeps things aligned. Once set up, it produces clean engravings with good detail. Nice to have this as it did not come in the SCULPFUN 30 bundle i purchased last year.
