hello, we needed a fairly wide flat surface set of pliers to finish a job in our household. we tried all sorts of pliers and none worked well. but, after using this sturdy set of pliers, it was outstanding. of course, the flexible rubber coverings for the wide blade grip area got damaged right away. a few splits opened up after the using the pliers. we can still use the covers on the blade tips, but they will bite the dust very soon. there was no mention of replacement tip covers, so in a search amazon did have another company offering another set of flexible covers for the tips of the wide pliers. it should have been part of the original order or at least on the same page as accessories. the pliers themselves are almost bullet proof, but, if you wash them, dry thoroughly or rust spots appear lightning fast.

After trying many times to break by hand, I used these pliers to run a break in an antique mirror that was a 1/4" thick. They worked perfectly! They were comfortable to hold, easy to use and gripped the glass without sliding.

I make a lot of wristlets and these are a good tool to have. I had one issue with them that was an easy fix. The rubber part kept falling off so I just used so glue to hold them in place. Easy peasy.

Works great for what wife needed.

I finally got around to using these.....I've had them for a few months but couldn't figure out how to make what I wanted. They are fairly sturdy. It took me a little bit to figure out exactly how to use them (no instructions which would have been helpful). Once I got started, they were relatively easy to use.

These are truly made for helping you split glass comfortably and safely. Tight grip and fit in your hands well. This is for those who have never messed with glass, because those that have already use these.
