great polish at a cheap price.
Works great. cheapest price for the most polish, used a harbor freight polisher for my windshield to remove scratches. 2-3 hours later and removed about 80-90 percent of the grooves. some notes: COVER YOUR PAINT. the polish itself is messy like many have said, but another thing it can do is with you rubbing up against the paint and the polishers cord running across the fenders the splatter can scuff and scratch up the clear coat on your paint. not a huge issue as i have meguiars polishing compound which did the trick to remove it but be careful. less is more, I really Didnt need a large amount of compound, i used a spray bottle with water + sprinkle the powder to create a slurry and kept it wet while working. the wool pad also picks up a lot of the polish so adding more is just going to go running down the glass, although its cheap enough to be fine to overdo. Clean very thoroughly after use, make sure there is no leftover residue on the glass and clean your wiper blades as well. you don't want all this work to go to waste because extra polish got stuck on your wipers causing them to slowly carve new grooves and scratches over time.

works well- Cover EVerything
I had many fine wiper streaks on the drivers side of my window. I tried glass polishers, compounds with only minimal success. I decided to try cerium oxide. First- Cover Everything within a 6 foot radius. This gets on everything! Use the "Proper" fine nap Wool Pad (not a polishing foam pad) makes a big difference in getting out the fine scratches. If you want to do a light "polish" with glass polish afterwards you can use the foam pad. Make sure the cerium is very diluted with water .(Not paste) Worked quite well. Got out 90% of the scratches. Use a "Sealer" or ceramic nano coating to seal the glass when done. Helps prevent further scratches and gives it a protective coating

It works - with elbow grease and patience
Something caught near the end of my driver side windshield wiper, making a couple of nice arced scratches from bottom to top. I could feel it with a fingernail but it wasn't deep enough for insurance to replace the windshield. I first tried Turtle Wax rubbing compound mixed with pumice hand cleaner, but no luck. This stuff worked, though it took a while. I used a Ridgid cordless drill and Ryobi sponge polishing wheel (Home Depot happens to be the closest to me). I used blue painter's tape to isolate the scratch in case the paste scuffed the rest of the windshield, but I needn't have worried. The tape ended up serving as a guide for where to buff once the scratches started to fade, though I had to re-apply it after a couple of buffing rounds. The powder easily mixed into a paste, which of course scattered across the hood of the car once I got the wheel going. It's slow to work at first, but by the 3rd round of buffing the scratches really started to fade. You may have faster results with a higher rpm tool and a different buffing wheel, but if you already have the basics then just press hard and be persistent. Once you're done you'll need a soft cloth to wipe the windshield as the powder doesn't come off with just a rinse. You'll probably need to wash the car body for the rest of the powder, but it's worth it to have a clear windshield again.

Gets out scratches but use an orbital sander!
Works as it should, probably enough for 2 windshields.

It works on etched glass maybe not on scratches if your fingernails can catch catch on them.
Had water spots etched on car windows. Previous owner let hard water dry on glass. Tried everything to no avail. Ordered this and used a 2 inch buffer. It did the trick. Clear windows.

Didn't Remove Scratches
I purchased this to remove fine scratches on a glass coffee table. After making into a paste and rubbing the scratches for about 30 minutes, it did NOTHING. Very disappointed!

WORKED GREAT!
I recently bought a 2012 Genesis that had widespread wiper damage across the windshield. Extremely happy with results of my repair. I used a cheap harbor freight buffer and instead of using a buffing pad I cut a couple of micro fiber cloths first one about an inch less in diameter than the second one which would go over top the first cloth. The backing pad I have is hard and has a velcro type facing and will hold the cloths in place. Do not use this method if you are not very experienced with a buffer. I found it much more efficient to spray from a bottle a light mist of water over one side of the glass and then sprinkle the powder over top of the moistened windshield. This will give you the perfect consistency for polishing out the scratches. Either remove wipers or stay away from them to prevent an unexpected pull on the buffer. DO NOT WEAR A BELT WHEN POLISHING THE WINDSHIELD OR YOU WILL VERY LIKELY SCRATCH THE PAINT ON YOUR FENDERS WITH YOUR BELT BUCKLE. This review is based on my own experience and what worked best for me and you may not have the same outcome as I did.
