2-Pack Fly Trap

This eliminated my fruit fly problem fairly cost effectively. I tried some blue night light sticky paper combo and it didnt catch a single fruit fly. This was one third the price and got the job done. The construction is a bit flimsy. The top doesnt screw on or off, you need to push in the lower half and twist the top to remove. Push the top down to secure. I would have gone with a proper thread mechanism to avoid spilling the bait and any dead fruit flies. Im used to apple cider vinegar, so it only smells when you get up close. The squeeze bottle with nozzle makes adding bait easy with out removing the top. Recommend for small infestations.

I would buy more than one pack if you have a true fruit fly issue . It took a few days but it got rid of them !

These are a nice little option to help if you have a fruit fly problem. You can refill with apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. I have seen them used in bars where the fruit flies are attracted to the sugars in the liquors. Especially nice since they don’t look like they are hanging out due to a bug issue 😳. Not so great for fungus gnats around your plants so if that’s your problem don’t bother with this.

Although it does attract a few bugs, yes it works, it doesn’t get rid of most of them. This would be a good product for an occasional bug, more for prevention. However if you have 10+ bugs flying around your kitchen, recommend getting a bug zapper and plugging it in at night in your kitchen. If you are serious about getting rid of them, you may need to remove all food products like onions ,fruit, potatoes etc off your open counter shelves and just eat refrigerated fruit for awhile (grapes etc). Also make sure you cover your sink drain holes at night (day too if you can) were they like to hang out. Also they like damp areas, make sure your bath mats are able to drive well. I put some cheap chemical toilet tablets in my toilet as well so they didn’t have access to water. I think I am starting to win the battle with these bugs. They seem to be flying in when I open my patio door. I may need to move my hanging plants with moist soil away from the door.

First three days, I saw no flies trapped and was thinking of returning the item. Later on, I have seen the flies walking on the trap and finally got trapped inside. Con’s: It takes time for the flies to go inside as the entry is not wide. Slowly they get trapped. I still have lot of flies inside the kitchen. This item can trap few flies.

Worked fantastically

These traps work great. And they look better than a homemade trap. Took about 48 hours after setting one up on a kitchen counter to see a measurable difference. Looking in the trap you can see that it is working since it's attracting and catching the fruit flies. From the smell, the solution that comes with the traps seems to be just diluted apple cider vinegar. Which means you can rinse these out after use and refill them with cider vinegar and a little dish soap to help trap the flies.

These are "ok", but get tipped over very easily. All the "stuff" flows out and it turns into a mess. Maybe they need to add a weight to the bottom, or something?

2 weaks now waiting for a fly to be caught, I'll keep waiting

Am very satisfied with this product. I had so much fruit flies in the house, brought a professional company to do pest control, which was quite aggressive, it helped but didn’t eliminate the problem completely. Then I used this product to get rid of the rest of flies and it worked! I highly recommend it and so happy this functioned
