UPDATE: After a few weeks of use I dropped my phone from about one foot but it hit the metal edge of a piece of furniture and the screen protector cracked. It did its job! It protected my phone and I applied a new one in just a few minutes (SEE MY VIDEO FOR INSTALLATION). A total bargain for 3 of these. Keep them in case this happens to you. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I used a glass screen protector once on a different phone and it was a pain to install and broke two minutes later when I put on my case. These were a totally different story. First, the greatest problem with these type of protectors is installation. Installing these is drop dead SIMPLE. The included guide snaps over your phone in such a way that it's nearly impossible to screw it up. Second, it has great instructions about how to peel off the plastic layer and then use the sticky tab to hold the glass in place inside the frame and place it perfectly. Last, it literally sucks itself onto my phone. I was so worried about bubbles but there were none. Then I took it off because I thought I was going to have to return my phone (it locked up and I didn't know how to do a hard reset with the new button combo on the XR). So taking it off was really simple. I left it upside down while I took my phone in and when I go it fixed I brought it home and put the protector back on with the included extras sticky tabs and plastic guide. Just as easy as the first time. I have no idea what to do with the other two glass covers they included. Maybe I'll find some friends with XR's and put them in their phones. Seriously great product. Forever a customer.

This is very nice and so easy to put on your phone

I installed it today, so I can't say anything about durability. It comes 3 in box. Historically, I've never replaced a phone screen more than twice, so I'm covered if it breaks. But again, this is a sacrificial cover, cheap insurance against a $200 screen placement. I shopped by price. However, I'm impressed. This is the first screen I've used that curves around the edges for almost edge to edge screen hugging coverage. With a clear Spigen case, my phone is almost completely wrapped. The cover has as a thin black edge all around - I prefer clear - but I think that's the sticky part. Visually, it's fine. There is a visible circle over the fingerprint reader to minimize reader interference. I think it works because my fingerprint reads fine. Mostly it's invisible but I'll get used to it. With the Pixel Camera, the circle is visible but almost aligned with the white shutter button. Installing the front cover is the usual exercise in patience. I need a quiet place. The supplied wet and dry cloths are tiny. I used a coffee filter as lint free cloth with some 99% isopropyl alcohol - of which I have so much from my phone repair saga. 99% alcohol evaporates almost instantly, allowing rapid placement of the cover, and beating the settling dust. I only had 1 dust speck that needed the supplied dust lifter. Fit the glass carefully because it grabs tightly. The back camera lens cover is a bonus at this price. My test photos are good, so I think it does not affect light reaching the camera. If it does, I'll remove it. The lens cover grabs really tightly and is almost impossible to reposition. I had to forcefully pry it off to reposition and it flew out of my fingers onto the floor - luckily sticky side up. It's still a little cock eyed. Now my phone has a black racoon mask :-). This glass piece feels tough.

Protector went on fine, no bubbles, reset fingerprint, and it works. My problem is that it's not picking up areas on the right hand side, areas that are important, such as turning phone sound on and off and arrow to send texts! I've pressed along the edge thinking perhaps it's because it's not firmly attached. That didn't seem to change it, but I believe that's where the problem lies.

Given the quality and the alignment frame, it’s an excellent value. Bottom line: Clean look, fast install, and dependable protection without compromising screen quality. If you want a no-drama, premium-feel protector at a fair price, this is it. 5/5 stars.

Update: 1 day of having it, fell off of my couch and cracked noticeably. Update 2: this whole time I assumed it was just the protector that cracked. It was my actual screen! 😡😤 it did more damage to my phone having it than not. Ive had my phone for 3 years and have never ruined my actual screen til purchasing this protector. Original: It came damaged. The first one I opened was already cracked on the corner side and then the second one I had was scratched already on the screen part of it. I had already taken my old protector off, otherwise I would've returned it immediately. The wet wipe was dry, like it was an old product sitting there for awhile. The thumbprint area is visibly different, but then looks bad like its not all smooth (like grease or bubbles are present - but the phone was clean since I took off a screen protector, wiped it after having to wet the wipe myself, dried it AND used the dust remover. Ive installed a few screen protectors and this is by far one of the worst ive ever had. I bought it especially for the camera protector, which does fit nice, but then doesn't allow my phone case to be fitted properly afterwards, so that's a bust too. AND the thumb print area no longer recognizes my fingerprints NOR can I make new ones, because there's little to no contact with the actual screen part to do it, so if you prefer fingerprint unlock, this is crummy. It looks like that's a top layer that should be removed, but the whole thing comes up if you even try, so the edges look like there's lines goin up each side. Incredibly disappointed.
