Love this product! I had to look up what a carrier oil is - but it is perfect for my purposes, which are moisturizing my scalp and helping to better distribute serums. I also rub it in on various body parts as a moisturizer. Scent is very light, and I'm quite sensitive, so I imagine most people wouldn't even smell it. It's a fair sized bottle and comes with a pump top. The pump top has a longer tube so if you want to remove the pump and screw the lid back on, that's an option. I just cut it to fit and leave the pump on as I'll be using it a lot. I use it every other day.

It works! I’ve been using amla (diy homemade oil, powder, and dehydrated form) for about 3 years. Since then my hair grows fast and hardly sheds. I started using this one daily for the last 7 days for scalp massage and hot oil treatment for my hair. I apply the amla oil on my scalp and hair then wrap it up in a protective style. The oil is light weight with a faint woodsy scent. After 7 days, my hair is still shiny but not greasy. Also does not weigh my hair down or make my scalp itchy from build up. I also used it in my hair mask, after 1 use, my hair and ends don’t feel brittle or like I’m ripping my hair out. There’s definitely something special about this little gooseberry.

bit of a smell but is not horrible and does not linger. Great for damaged skin. I mix it with jojoba oil and have a natural, organic facial moisturizer that makes my 40 yo skin look as good or better than any cheap or expensive moisturizer I've ever purchased at the store. And I swear my wrinkles are lessening. It does not make my skin breakout like coconut oil did (may vary by skin type but I picked Tamanu and jojoba because they are supposed to be good for acne). I found that jojoba (actually a wax not an oil) did not give me quite enough oil so the mix is perfect, try a combination that works for you.) My friend used Tamanu and said it resolved the pain in her acne spots. I've used plain Tamanu after a sunburn to help my skin recover. Lots of antioxidants and other good stuff inside! For the face, I use 4 drops of the mixture twice a day, mix in water by having your hand damp (helps thin and spread it), apply to the whole face and voila! Great for lips and around eyes too (nontoxic). I just finally threw away all my other chemical-laden moisturizers. Hurray, I found something pure and organic that actually works!

Great results so far. Seems to stimulate follicles without the added smell you'd get from mint or rosemary. Oil is thick but not too greasy on the scalp.

Works excellent. Will leave your hair greasy. Has a nonpleasant smell, but that's the way the Amla fruit is. I put it all over in my hair for the day or sleep in it. Wash and my hair is more curly than normal and soft.

I use it on my curly hair sometimes after the curl treatment, sometimes after one or two days after the treatment, and it holds the curls and defines curls..

I've not had the product a week yet, but I received a request to rate it. Three stars does not mean anything negative or it's a bad product, only that sufficient time has not passed to make a determination one way or the other. The dark glass bottle was packed in a cardboard box with a dropper and then placed in Amazon's bubble bag (this was definitely an improvement since I have received broken items [not from this seller] due to poor packaging). I have used the product on my hair twice and can say that it definitely left it feeling soft. Although I am almost completely gray in the front I have no desire to change it - I love my gray! But if it intensifies the black/brown of the remainder of my hair that's fine. The oil does have a slight "smell" (no where near Fenugreek or Black Castor Oil) but it is definitely not offensive. I did mix with a few drops of magnolia and lavender essential oils because I happen to like that combination and the aroma, but not to mask anything. This is my first time ever using Amla Fruit oil and my goal is healthy hair and skin. If it lives up to all the hype I will be pleased. So, time will tell.

Too early to tell if it helps hair growth, but it's easy enough to leave on hair without a sticky mess. Fragrance seems consistent of fresh amla

Light, non greasy oil with delicate herbal smell.

Really pleased with this...mild scent, absorbs well...I'm trying this out as a leave-in scalp treatment and pre-wash mask. 5/5 for packaging with protection for glass dropper.

This oil really helped with my frizzy hair and it had a smell but its not too bad you can tolerate it for a few hours before washing
